It's happened to me last week. I won 0.2 btc. I made myself greedy and play more then I lost all my wining and all the saving to zero to recover the lost amount. now I hate myself why couldn't I stop myself when I won.

Thats not a mistake, thats the reward for you of being a fool. You should be able to do it with one of your eyes closed , no excuse on it. Even if it only rely on luck, concentration is needed so that you wont misclick or even wager the wrong amount. It happened to alot of people already though

That depends on the mistake though. You can call those happy mistakes if you suddenly did an all in and won. That would be the best story of your life if it happened. Though if you missed click and did an all in then lost, then that is why you are posting here. It really differs on the outcome of the bet and not really on opinions.

That is quite a negligence from you, though it is really quite annoying pressing the bet button then suddenly we saw that we made a mistake but was too late to change and the result is quite devastating, and in your case you lost all your bankroll in one go. Eventhough I always keep my bet checked but we cannot remove lapses resulting in error. Though my worst mistake was alt tabbing while playing slots or dice which result in empty bankroll.

The worst mistake I made in gambling is to discover it, for me to walk away from the reality is that you are always losing the money. So why do we go to a place where we are always losing the money? Eventually, this doesn't make sense to keep doing that. I can't give you alternative activities, like exercise, keeping occupied and what's so ever. That's up to you if you have the effort to do it. But something must click. Pay your bills, live simply, that's how you will treat your life, spend on some booze and hook up with a hoe. It's better than sorry.

I think the worst mistake that I've made before was when I played poker with my friends and the stake was so high. I was too confident with my card because I had a pair of ace but the blind was good because I went for triple A's and I went all in because my friends knew me for bluffing sadly a friend of mine didn't fold, and he won with royal flash and I lost almost $500.

It is true, a gambling has advantages and disadvantages. If indeed we are not strong enough to withstand the deficiency it would be much better that we get out of gambling by not thinking about all the things that are inside. In short if we do have aims on making money on playing gambling on the very first place then we would really play gambling no matter what specially when you saw someone who do won large amounts for sure this thing will push you out to play even more.This is why self realizations and control would really be needed same as you said because if addiction will hook you then you would really have a hard time to get out.

You are right. If somebody has made his mind about getting rich through gambling, then it can be a real tough task to make him realize the truth. Moreover, his feelings and greed will pump when he will come across others who are making money by gambling. But he must know it is not the reality.

That's why we can not put up a bet with all the money we have, it's too risky, there's no guarantee we'll take back our losses. We have to think about playing safe, and leaving some of our money is one Of so many way to play it safe.

there's no such thing as 'playing it safe.' there is always a risk involved in every roll you participate in, nothing changes that. its also never smart to bet everything in one roll; why give it all for one chance?

Usually when we do experience a winning bet and our mind and emotion do already changed up and believing that we can go further and its sounds very easy to achieve such goal. This is somehow a boost up on emotions on being confident and bam, you lose on the next bet and frustrations would really comes next.

i never saw why or how people could actually be confident when gambling; the odds are right there in front of you, and you should be more than aware that the outcome is, more or less, going to be random. how you feel or what you think the outcome will or might be will never have any effect on the end result, period. how you go from the cold, hard mathematical odds in front of you to believing you're going to win no matter what the circumstance is beyond me.

Since gambling is bad but still if we can make it with our smart work then we can make big/decent amount of earnings .
Here Personally in the much starting made loss because i was totally unknown for such types of the things that how to handle and how to make money and also i was thinking that luck is a main factor but there was another factor house edge .
In the starting with the lack of knowledge , a problem was with me of the greediness to make lots of earnings with small times betting .
So i lost much , but now in these days i am making gambling in small small amd in limited amount to make earnings.
So here i think greediness always a big mistake in the gambling .

I just lost my profit from trading where i work hard for that and then i plan it to play in gambling and yet the i lost it all because the aim of having a big profit again thats the reason why i played gambling and then now im regreting about playing gambling because of that i lose my money and yet uggghhh i hate gambling.

This is the right approach, any money that I gamble is money that I already think of it as money that I’m never going to see again, that way I’m not unhappy when I lose my money in gambling, if people followed your advice there will be a lot less people addicted to gambling that think naively they can beat the house in a game in which the player is clearly at a disadvantage.
