My worst mistake with bitcoin like others has been depositing money into that coinminr.to site. They claimed they got hacked and all the money disappeared. Would never participate in such an activity again.
oh come on. it is the mode of the owner to go into the scam it is the usual mode of owner said that they hacked balance or other reasons

I deposited into Ponzi and HYIP schemes before this, and i believe this is worst mistake i did with Bitcoin, as i lost some amounts without real reasons. Gambling is also risky way and i take care nowadays before playing there.
I know some guys that had the same thing happen. HyIps seems to work cyclical. At one point in time no one will invest in any HYIP so they close doors very fast and it ends up in all the earnings going to waste. Then new victims get the idea that it somehow could be possible and they hyips work a bit longer again.
It is clearly not a good idea.

wtf how can you enter the wrong address when sending bitcoin ? yeah that sounds very ridiculous yeah I know because bitcoin address is not listed a name and therefore could anyone forget and put the wrong address.therefore check bitcoin address. before sending bitcoin dude
Yeah you need to be very careful and need to check twice before sending it to any address as we know that bitcoin transactions are irreversible so its difficult to recover your coins.

Do gambling only with the money that you can afford to lose and do it for entertainmnet purpose only. But at least you are now know how to spend your bitcoin better. Mistakes makes us more carefully to do something..

For any purpose we do betting we will loose money so if you really interested in gambling you can play gambling or else don't play because simply for your fun why you waste your bitcoin keep it in your wallet it will reach high price in few months so then you can sale that you will get some profit in bitcoin. I too loose some coins here but i am not remember how much i loss but still i am not able to quit this.
Yeah even I try to gamble sometimes but never been lucky but now I gamble with very less amount so even if I loose it doesn't affect my wallet, but I am trying to stay away from it.
Never ever try to gamble if you cannot afford to lose it. You might end up losing all your money including your life savings. We should learn from the mistakes of our fellow gamblers here. Best thing to do earn it by working and invest for future goals.

0.05 Bitcoin to someone like me is actually a lot. Anyway, have you checked your recycle bin the other time? Or look for method to recover the lost .dat file? Next time you got to be careful about when deleting some folders.

2nd option, not knowing anything about bitcoin and rejected an offer where a dude offered me 10K BTC for a few alertpay dollars. Which later I lost to an HYIP. 
Hey just a question. How would you know if a HYIP can be trusted. I see you got some experience with this kind of thing and I see a lot of people offering this kind of service. But havent tried. I am too careful not going at full blast risk.
Majority of them are ponzi and can't be trusted, you need to do a great level of research before investing anything in online sites.
Now a day, every HYIP is a ponzi, you better stay away from those if you don't wanna lose your hard earned money.
I had a strategy at that time with these HYIPs, joined only short term programs and under high ref back offering monitoring sites.
This strategy has worked well for me for some time, then I was greedy enough to put all my eggs in one basket thinking they'll atleast pay until a few days, until then I'll get my investment back, but I was wrong.
They're gone on day 2 (They gone because they got more investments than they actually thought they'd get, not just mine but all members)

A very large mistake, but this you can use as a lesson in the future so as not to get in the same event. And possibly also you will get a much larger BTC of BTC was missing. Keep trying and always hard work

I believe worst mistake most of us has ever done about bitcoin is not knowing it any earlier as mentioned above.
Not knowing about something earlier can't be a mistake. Knowing something and deciding against it might be a mistake though well, nobody that I know knows the future. So it can't be an error the same way that it can't be an error to know that the lottojackpot is high and you might win with the right numbers. It's not an error that you did not play the exact numbers when you know the winning numbers.
Panic selling at $230. Worst idea ever. Little did I know that not more than a week later the price would go up to $350. Well lucky me.
You sold it at that price and my mistake was not to buy at that price as I thought that it will not rise again in future, and it was a worst decision of my life.

Trading with altcoins and loosing money, also not buying btc when it was lot cheaper.
It is really a bad strategy if you are not buying bitcoins when it is cheaper, you must take the opportunity and wait for the price fall of bitcoin before buying it and going into trading, because instead of earning , yeah you will just lose your money.
