Honestly I really love the concept, use cases and the teams of Grin coin so I can say that it's a good to invest in it. Disregard otjers who say grin was overpriced, Grin worth its current price.
Grin and beam, both coins based on the new Mimblewimble privacy protocol, are hot currently. Prices could go lot higher since supply is currently very low.
Grin is a new coin and I have heard a lot about it. Bitcointalk forum admin has started to accept grin as a payment method. Is it worthy to invest in grin now? The current price is $4.50 or something like that. What do you think? Will it increase or decrease more?
It is very difficult to predict whether this coin will be able to increase in the future. And in General, personally I am now very concerned about new projects, unfortunately we do not know what to expect from the already well-known projects, so personally I will refrain from new in this market. For me adding like 5% of its to your portfolio worth the risk
Since Grin has infinite supply, it is more designed to be a coin than an investment.

Nobody can say if it will increase or not.
There's already the market and community that supports it and it's this forum where the admin itself, theymos stated that. You must decide on your own and think appropriately if you want to buy it. And want to know mine? I'm gonna buy.

of course if you are a trader then it is a different situation. right now there is a lot of hype and because of it a lot of ups and downs. a trader can ride these fluctuations to make good amount of profit but it requires high speed trading and a lot of risk taking.
other than that, when a coin is new in the market and is showing a huge volatility then it is not such a good idea to get on board of it that fast.

Guys, luckily yesterday I had bought 30 grin as a test @$5.10 and just now sold those. It was a good investment for me although I was not able to sell at $12+ and now I am thinking of buying some more once it goes below $8. Buyinh beyond $8 will be a risky investment.

If you had invested at the moment when you asked, you already have profited 170%. I was surprised to see the price. Yesterday, it was $4 and now it is $12. I still hope that it will go further high before the bearish signal.

I think the Grin is one of the most promising coins this year. It is like AION, HAT, and ETC. Also accepted on the forum as payment for copper membership. And for me on my opinion that was so potential alts and profitable.
I'm not sure I'll will invest in it anytime soon, I won't advice anyone to either the coin is currently living on a huge hype and people are paying more than what I think the coin should be valued at. Maybe, just maybe if the price reduces better I'll invest in it.

I think it would be wise move to buy 1 000 grin and hold it for some time, but current price (7 $) is high and overhyped for coin with unlimited supply.
1-2 $ is perfect enter point, as for me.
But who knows, how much this coin will be cost in the near future - looks like Grin definitely will be listed on all major exchanges and price can skyrocket easily.
It's not a good investment if no one actually use it, or only use it for solely for hodl. Grin has its potential, but seems overpriced at the moment. It doesn't have a proper wallet and windows wallet. Meanwhile, BEAM has better UI, structure, and economics.
But the fact that GRIN is so difficult to mine --only with 6GB+ cards-- make the coin isn't "evenly" distributed. Thus make it, very scarce and easy to manipulate.

Looks like Grin will be good investment, I see what is posted on the thread the price always increase. But I did not see it in the coinmarketcap.
no one knows where this coin is going. just invest when you feel the time is right. invest when it hits the bottom. its leveling around 3.85 . so take your pick. theres also a chance it will hit 50$ if you are a long term holder. company is doing good things imo. if i had more money i would invest. but my bitcoin got hacked so i need to buy in again.

I think Grin have a huge chance to succeed, the distribution is fair as compared to projects like Zcash that comes with alot of criticism and since it is not been listed on many exchanges I expect the price to grow. I see this having higher Marketcap than ZCash and Dash in coming months. For me adding like 5% of its to your portfolio worth the risk
