So I have 2 cousins. One of them doesn't save and is a huge spender while the other is a saver and spends only once a year. So would bitcoin be a good way to teach them about saving? Since, mining bitcoin is the only way to make alot of bitcoin, I would use a alt wallet to show them what happens if you spend and don't save. What do you think?
Well i think, we should be the one who will teach our families and relatives about bitcoin. Bitcoin should not be teach by school because it has a different genre or idea of teaching. If we want our families and relatives to know how to save and have an idea about bitcoin, we can be their teachers.
I think teaching the kids about bitcoin in the schools by their teachers is actually not a bad thing. Teachers are no doubt far more qualified than most of the parents and they will be able to teach our kids very well. As far as saving is concerned, I think till the time kids will not get into this business of bitcoin, it is not possible for bitcoin to teach about saving.

That is better. When you are a kid you can be taught any valuable thing and there will be more sensible response from them, you will be seeing. Because children of the current generation are so much energetic and liable to technology. So if you tell them about the savings and profits of bitcoins that will definitely be a great impact on them.
It will surely play a huge role in the youths future! No doubt about that, but the fact that you throw the whole bulk of blockchain technology to them all at once is a crazy idea.

They could be smart but there are better ways to introduce your kids into a technology that is apparently not useful for them at this stage. It should be a gradual process and nothing bad in making use of gamy faucets like someone mentioned.

most of kids don't really understand about saving and most of them only spend their parents money because they're not understand how to earning money but bitcoin as the money and save them for long term then there will be several benefit they will got especially from the profit side and maybe if you're telling to your kids that saving bitcoin for at least 1 year will makes us richer then they will understand and start to not spend money too much and saving bitcoin for future purposse

Or maybe allot your kid's time for better things such as socializing with other kids or learning new things in school. You don't have to make your kid do some work because even if he successfully collects bitcoin, it wouldn't be that much to make a significant change in his life. It's your responsibility as a parent to secure that your kid is going to have a smooth path financially. Your kid should focus on developing himself as a human, yes, our bodies keep on developing even after birth as well as our brain. Ever thought about those people that are totally normal but are just so dumb, it's because their brains weren't developed well when they start living. They were not well fed as a child and maybe they are distracted by other things instead of just learning in school. School is out there so we can develop even though after high school, it all seems to be just crap.

So yeah, save your kid from being the dumb kid in your street by letting him grow and not by interrupting it by making him work for money. He would earn a lot more in the future once he has high level knowledge of something and get paid for that.

>making a lot of Bitcoin
oh boy son

If anything, in order to encourage better spending habits, they should have been required to save some money for toys they wanted to buy as a kid instead of buying everything for them. I don't know if this is something that was tried on them but it worked on me growing up. Bitcoin is just another means of wealth and it doesn't really encourage saving that much for most people who maintain their own finances, in whatever way that may be.
Yes ofcourse also bitcoin also teaches people how to become patient just like in trading or in joining in a bounty campaign because in bounty campaign if you earn your token you need to wait for the right time for the value to rise up

It will help them to know about saving but for me, you don't have to give an example such as bitcoin. Saving is being taught in schools or if not it all depends to their teachers or tutors. As an adult to those kids, you should be the to teach them even with bitcoin or not but the idea of it is good because you are trying to do your best to let them understand about the importance of saving and that's a good thing.

How can bitcoin will help kids on their saving? I do not think that you need to teach them bitcoin by saving. Most of them do not even know anything about bitcoin, hoe to operate them and everything. For kids, bitcoin is much more complicated that it looks. There is so many things to learn before they are in to bitcoin
Kids minds are not so fast to learn about the market phases the thing that can be teach to children is he education about bitcoin at the very basic level and all this will help to develop the good crypto investor of the future and some of the schools has started such activity through which kids are motivated to be in this field for the life time achievements.

First, don't think that mining bitcoin is the "only" way to make a lot of bitcoin. You should change that mindset because right now, there's a lot of way to make bitcoin and if you want to have a better and stable way learn it with trading.

But the idea of teaching them and giving them lesson about proper saving is a good thing. And with bitcoin, you are teaching two things at the same time.

It's like two birds at one stone, teaching and investing. Pursue that thing because one day, those kids will be our future.
I agree with you, they are our future and the more we keep helping them to build that future faster, the better.

Imagine starting from now and seeing that in next few decades when they are all grown to make good decisions, they already have something to help them make it and build their dreams so fast. That is how it should be even if you still want to help them in a way.

Not that really building their future faster but we are building them to be more prepared and ready for their future and what's more to come in those days.

And teaching them how to save is one of the best treasure that we can give them as long as they'll also know how to keep it and will learn from our teachings.

Look at the price of bitcoin, so basically teaching them keeping bitcoin will give them a very good future and whom do you think that your child will have 1 bitcoin in the future that's equivalent to $10,000 - $100,000 right?

How? While they are still young a parent should be responsible by teaching them how to save and bitcoin will be a good tool for it. As they keep on saving there will be the time that they can earn at the same time. If you won't teach them how to save you are starting to become an irresponsible parent or guardian of the kids. I usually teach my nieces and nephews about saving because it will help them on how to manage money properly.

Bitcoin can be a good way to teach them but I think the much better way would be to make them save fiat first because being kids, I think they don't understand it that much what bitcoin is and they can relate more with fiat. You can start teaching them how to save fiat like making them save money for the things that they really wanted. I would not want the kids to think that they can easily get money just by asking their parents but somehow they should learn the value of it. When their savings is enough then they can use it freely because in that way they would realize the importance of saving.

You can teach them also about bitcoin because I'm pretty sure someday they would really appreciate it that they learn early about it from you when the time comes digital currency would be that valuable.
Even if kids want to save with fiats sometimes, they may still want you to help them save it. I used to have a bank account opened for my kids and thought them how to save from whatever little they get.

How it is different is, banks will never make the funds appreciate but bitcoin will, so explaining to them that bitcoin is the future of currency and how payment will be made, as well as, it keeps appreciating in value has made my first son to always be keen to come to me to help him save more in his wallet from the tiny peanuts he gets.

It might be small and won't even buy anything, but I can always transfer that value from my own wallet and show him whenever it is appreciating. That alone, has made him to learn to save more to my surprise.

I think how they can believe in bitcoin. of course they are a spender is not easy to set them directly into the world of bitcoin but if you explain in detail about the benefits of storing bitcoin in the long run and the results are very satisfactory I think they will be much more interested without thinking to fear to plunge into the world of bitcoin

Saving is a good thing to be at the age of the children. They can make them accustomed to saving. Bitcoin can be a great example for them when you will tell them about saving especially when they will use digital currency to save. But if you're going to give an example of bitcoin, then it's best to give a first explanation of how bitcoin prices can change.

I think it would not be a good way for people to teach little kids on saving through Bitcoin since it is the online world where talking about, they would not know the do's and dont's that is being regulated here. Manual saving is still the best way to teach our kids on how to save money and giving them advices and suggestions.

It was a good idea to teach kids through in a bitcoin world.  Because in the first place it was tough to teach via bitcoin directly but by steps by steps, it will work and to let them know about the value in of saving and investing money. This is just for their own goods. So that in the future it is not difficult for them to earn  money for their emergency needs. So they have already a knowledge about in a reality of our world.

Not bitcoin but the people guiding these kids. Adults who are into bitcoin could also introduce bitcoin to their kids as a way of investing. With proper guidance, the youth of today could fully understand the importance of saving.

They will not just learn how to save but they will also learn self control if ever prices are fluctuating. More kids might be patient in the future because of the crypto currency.

Saving is good for the future and teaching children how to have a saving culture is also good but there are certain things you don't teach a child depending on the age because of comprehension level. If a child is so tender and you think you can inculcate saving of paper money, you can go ahead but bitcoin depends on is more complex and giving its tools of operation, you would realize such kids should be of teachable age to even deal with computers not to talk of understanding how bitcoin and blockchain works.

So, you should know better .

I think it's a good way to teach kids to save and save money well, Because if it teaches bitcoin I think it would be too hard to understand and too complicated for them.
Plus how to teach knowledge transacting it will be making them boring for them.
When we introduce it to bitcoin it's a good idea to teach them how to save money well and how money grows by itself
It's nice to teach kids how to save but not with bitcoin. Bitcoin can't help kids how to save. It will let kids be confused. It's hard to learn bitcoin even myself still on the process of learning it. You can teach your kids how to save money but it's not yet time to introduce bitcoin to kids.

I agree with you. For now they will not understand what really bitcoin is. It is easier to teach kids about saving. It started from our house.  Parents knows best for their child. Before other teach us, our parents already taught us that thing.
