Or is it more frightening than cool?
If so, wouldn't it great if another company with more sense of ethics was to conceive a similar project?

Definitely not.  They aren't a trustworthy company.  Just look at all the breaches they've had this year.

Never trusted Facebook, and never liked their platform.
The product may be good, but I will not buy it on principle

According to the research firm MarketsandMarkets, the AR market is expected to grow from $11.14 billion in 2018 to $60.55 billion by 2023, thus why Facebook is launching its AR glasses, putting the company in competition with companies such as Microsoft, Apple or Google. However, it seems like experts fear the issues linked to the fact that the company has been facing some privacy concerns.
So, how likely are you to buy Facebook's newest product?
