No. I will never do that. I am contented on where am I now.
Due to relativity and people aging at different rates, I'd say we need Stargates.
I can't imagine the internet latency from Earth to other planets being very good. Going to have to stay here for my games.
Well this is quite a bad assumption. Even if there was internet connectivity between Earth and plane X, it would not be commercialized because of the sluggish speed and high latency. Only the government would have access to this. However, you would still be able to play games on the planet that gets colonized as it would probably have similar internet that Earth has.I would definitely leave Earth behind if I had the chance, especially if I could travel to multiple planets/colonies (Stargate program?). People need to stop relying on emotions and become free. It would be great being able to explore multiple places in space. Who knows what we could encounter there?

Meh, I'd rather be immortal. If they develop a way to alter my genome and make me immortal, then I'll hop on a space ship.

Earth's United government starts a massive space immigration program. Would you move into a giant space / surface colony to save the planet? It's a one-way ticket, no coming back, but our space program would be huge, with the ability to travel between planets & colonies. The earth is left alone to replenish itself for use as our reservoir of life.
