Maybe it is more about how you get money rather than if you have it. I would say that someone who works very hard for their money is having a good life because of their accomplishments to gain the money. Money is just a tool to transfer accomplishments.

The problem with this is that when you believe you have one or you don't. Let's say there are only two scenarios.

You have a soul, and you are prepared to sell it
You think you don't have a soul and also ready to sell it

If you are any of the two, for sure there are reasons for it, whether You believe that you have or you don't care that you don't. In any sense, for the first on the list: It's a choice whether you want money more than anything. If you ”worship the dollar” as they say. For the second one, it is also the same; greed is the point of view.

If you ever have thought about it, better check yourself out. Everyone always has a choice.

it depends on how you take it! for me, I am not gonna give money such a priority. I think many people in the world are foolish to even use money. I can literally spend money as it is a power for me. I don't see value in money instead people have the value they do the work for you (in exchange for some stupid cash). the most interesting part of all this is no one actually knows what these papers are actually worth. you decide their values and pay for them. just use your brain and you can also open the pandora's box Grin

What do you mean by a soul? and what would happen to you if you sold it?

I guess it only matters if you believe in religion and believe in some sort of life after you die. If death is the end and you aren't held responsible for your actions on Earth then why not do whatever you can while you are here to make the most of it.

I don't think that it is worth it to sell our soul for just a lifetime happiness and suffer for an eternity .
I could be contented with what I have right now and I don't think that I need more than enough to live and be happy.
Besides happiness is a choice , We are the one who are responsible for our own happiness and choices in life.

There is more to a soul then what you define it to be which you said living right and acting right, your soul is you spirit that live even when you are no more it what connect you with your creator and what exist once you are physically death in the body. Since we are understanding "soul" as acting good, doing the right thing, being able to live with your actions, I wouldn't sell mine for money, but I would if I had my family to take care of. In other words, it wouldn't be difficult to choose if only my life was on the line and I could go from being an average guy to a jet flying millionaire, whose problems are whether to buy a ferrari or a lamborghini. It would be much more difficult if my family was poor and I could change that and give them all easier and more comfortable lives. I'd probably be able to live with the guilt, because looking at them doing fine would compensate for it.
