Holy shit so Binance acquired Wazir I had no idea. So now when I use WazirX I am basically using BNB in a long roundabout way.
With a domestic population of 1.3 billion, WazirX would be a potential competitor of Binance if it wasn't be accquired. That said, WRX is always a shadow of BNB and hence I don't find any meaning of this thread.Happy with Binance services if I'm honest but really not happy at the monopolization that seems to be taking place. Not going to ever advice people to go big on either token.
I also started to be scared of Binance's power and influence. First, they bought Coinmarketcap, then helped Justin Sun to buy Steemit. Now this WazirX acquisition. Binance is proving that it's superior than the rest. The cryptocurrency market needs a same sized company to maintain motivation and fairness. It's similar to ARM vs x86 (x64), AMD vs Intel, Samsung vs Apple... I was expecting too much on the Japanese unicorn Liquid but their progression was really slow. Now my aattention turns to Bithumb, a Korean exchange. Huobi is also a good candidate but it's just another Chinese company.
