Bump:

I will pay $58 for 5 BTC.  I have card in hand now, please PM to work out details.

Do you have a shotgun for sale instead?

$60 for 5 would be a lucky price right now off of the exchange.

DWOLLA would be easier to trade with, if you're in US get an account: http://dwolla.com
or for other or any methods post an ad on http://bitcoinary.com

yes burt there's plenty of bitcoiners on here being facetious to the newcomer, calm down

"I know coins are worth more money, but could you find it in your heart to sell to me, an unverified Jr.Member, for less money than the BTC are worth?"

Honestly, people will most likely sell to you for the Gox 24 High price.

WTB 10 BTC ($50)
I know it doesn't match the mtgox price.  But, seeing as how you used to be able to buy BTC for the dozen/1$ I'm hoping someone will have a stash and willing to sell some for a good price.  Otherwise, make me an offer and I will buy however many you are willing to sell for $50.  Verified paypal/wired bank transfer prepared.
If I had known the BTC community was so facetious, I would have refrained from coming involved.
Who is the one being facetious?

fa·ce·tious   /fəˈsiʃəs/ Show Spelled[fuh-see-shuhs]
adjective
1. not meant to be taken seriously or literally: a facetious remark.
2. amusing; humorous.
3. lacking serious intent; concerned with something nonessential, amusing, or frivolous: a facetious person.

Let me guess, your rich uncle in Nigeria just died and left you millions of dollars which you put in your credit card to get cheap bitcoins with.  Now ONLY if someone would give you millions of bit coins for 50 bucks you'd be rich too right?  Are you going to let me keep half the money for helping you out too?

You seem to be missing the fact that there's no good reason to sell BTC to you for less than the going rate. There are many good reasons not to sell to someone who wants to pay with a credit card. My recommendation if you have $ and want BTC fast is BitInstant.

Yeah, I was trying to be nice and have you figure it out for yourself, but I don't think beating around the bush will work. There are probably tens of others buying BTC for paypal right now for $12.20 or so per BTC. If you are looking to get Bitcoins, I'd advise going through one of the exchanges. That way, you may end up paying like 5% in fees, but if you are looking to buy with Paypal, especially as a new user, verified or not, you will be paying more than that.

It is very infrequently that bitcoins go for less that "spot" current market value if anything, you are normally going to have to pay a premium to buy Bitcoins with $ that isn't already on an exchange.

mooching is not going to work buddy.  Start mining if you want bit coins,  or clicking the ad sites or pony up what they are worth.
I want a hummer too, maybe we can work a deal?

This isn't helping me...

A lot of people on this board have put a lot of time and/or money into bitcoin by developing, learning, buying equipment or just sinking a considerable chunk of their own savings into bitcoins. How have you helped the bitcoin network in such a way that someone should help you?
