OK, thanks every one for your offers, but I see that the currnt price is way above my bid price. So no need for more sell offers, thanks (unless it is actually close to my buy offer).
I will try again at a later time point when the price has gone down Smiley

are we sure those aren't the same people messaging each other
Trans ID just got listed. Look it up on the blockchain.

Well, everyone knows who I am, any one else want to reveal their real identity?

1 PTS = .01BTC. Omg! Why PTS is so much expensive?
Because I believe they will be releasing other coins off the protoshares, so you are really buying like 3-4 coins at once. Not to mention is it backed by a company with funding not just some random guy.

.1 BTC for 2000 PTS => $25 for 2000 PTS => $0.625 for 50 PTS

It takes about 8-10 hours of CPU time to get a block. Assuming a 500 Watt PSU, that's 4-5kWh per block. Electricity is about $0.15 per kWh or about $0.60 - $0.75

At best, you're willing to pay the electricity cost of getting the protoshare.

I don't think you're going to get anyone to bite until it's at least 10x that.

Right now people are buying with electricity which will push the difficulty up until a market price is found.    People are paying Digital Ocean prices which are about 3-4x the cost of buying hardware.  So I would venture a guess that the price will continue to rise.  Not that I am biased or anything Smiley
Now I see where this project is going to, good luck, my buy offer is declined!
Because of Charles there I liked to join this project once, but Cunicula is ultimately right about the ponzi, I see it now!

What do you mean by that Huh ?

Guys, please put in your sell offer! If possibel, total amount you want to sell/ BTC, thanks.

I'll try to set the market then. $0.75/PTS up to 25 PTS.
$3/PTS and I'll sell you just one block. You forget that some of us are cloud mining, and have to pay server fees. Will sell one block just to get things moving.

Well I offered 0.01 btc for super3's 50 PTS, but super3 expect 0.035 btc for each PTS  Shocked
There exist ridiculous bids and asks at the moment Cheesy
I am to buy some 200-500 PTS at some reasonable prices, pm me your offers Smiley

$2.50 for 50 PTS?

It costs $0.60-$0.75 just in electricity to mine this CPU-only coin. There's also the up-front hardware cost, any Digital Ocean rental and the fact that difficulty will be resetting in a week and we probably won't be seeing mining for this cheap for a while.

$8.75 for 1 PTS is a bit much on the other end.

I would guess $.20-$.75/PTS is what we settle at.

There is so much demand that we will hit block 2016 (1 week) after only 1 day.   So your window to mine cheaply ends in about 6 hours.
Tripled the size of my cluster tonight hopefully that will get me some extra blocks. Nice work on the Momentum algo though. My physical hardware is doing circles around my cloud machines.
