He was not a farsighted person. He tried to have some fun and bought a pizza for 10.000 bitcoins. Biggest error of his life if we look at what happened from nowadays time. I don't blame him though as since he had 10.000 bitcoins since then he must have made them very easily at that time so maybe he is still a millionaire today.

It's the same as you need to be smart to buy pizza for such money. I would have eaten off my fingers with envy.

I will hand deliver you a pizza anywhere in the world for 10k bitcoin. No escrow, sorry travel fees might be a bit...
So I even take a bike to Antarctica for such money. And nothing will be an obstacle for me. It's just think, $ 10k for pizza. This is what a gourmet probably.

I'd bake it myself over a fire started from the corpses of your enemies.

Bought on 22nd May 2010 by Laszlo Hanyecz, the programmer paid a fellow Bitcoin Talk forum user 10,000 BTC for two Papa John’s pizzas. Back then – when the technology was just over a year old – that equated to roughly $25, but is $5.12m by today’s exchange rate. read more here .

10000btc to date, if the average price for bitcoin is $ 1150, then this amount is $ 1500000. The one and a half million can live me and my family all my life and even my grandchildren will be enough.

Poor the guy who bought that, I wonder if when he thinks about it, is he sad or angry with himself ?

Because today, he would have been a millionaire. Well I would be really angry and blame myself because this was surely a live changing decision there!
