Timelord, would this be enough verification?  My keybase account is also verification and I signed a message the previous page.

@Anixs, thanks for your vouch and offering to do that.   However, I thought that a PGP signed message would have sufficed.  That is the most scrutiny most escrows get around here.  If my clients don't trust me, they are welcome to use another escrow service from the list here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcointalk-escrows-trade-safely-855778

Can't elaborate on random comments in my profile - you'd have to ask the person who made them.

My offer still stands - if it helps show that this is the original Monbux then I'm happy to so so.  

Edit: My verification idea would work with anyone who has done a trade with Monbux in the past.  Doesn't have to be me.

I've done some business with monbux in the past (both Paypal and Interac transfer).

I can easily confirm if he is the original monbux or not.

I still have his banking info saved in my banking portal.

I could send him a small transfer (few dollars) and if he is the original monbux, he can easily tell me this amount.

If the monbux forum account is bought, then of course the new owner would not have access to the original monbux's bank account.  

You do realise that being an Escrow means that you are under more scrutiny than if you were an "ordinary" user here?  In any case, as a suggestion, perhaps if you put a signpost on your self moderated thread linking to here, you would get more attention and therefore more trades?

Actually, what I said in my PM was that you appeared to be farming personal details wanting verified identity documents not that the PayPal was a verified account as you are suggesting.

And my concern above was that your UID / account may have been hacked which seems to have alluded you.

Definitely.  The user would have to trust me in order to go ahead with this transaction.  Not sure what else there is to it.  If they don't trust me, they don't trade with me.

To be honest, it would probably have been better to post there, but that was a trading thread whereas here, I'm looking for a one-time buy.

Please note that Timelord2067 has a personal grudge on me after I decided not to trade with him and going through some hassles.  He has actually PMed me once or twice after I declined to trade with him with messages like "You need to be removed from the trust list" and whatnot because I did not agree to sell him BTC for his paypal in the end.  The man can hold a grudge for a lifetime   (I had asked for his ID and he wanted to mail it to me and how it would be stored afterwards, and I didn't want to bother with that so I simply told him the deal was off)
