Please no more offers on 1's .. 2s ..

Getting a stack of people trying to sell 1s and 2s - I want to buy in bulk and I'm happy to wait for 7 series cards if none come up at the right price ..

Turns out we missed out on the 5970s .. ah well, so we're back in the market for 5970s or 6990s ...

With the advent of the new 7 series cards and their Mh/s / J ratios, I won't pay more than $300 odd per card.  Especially because NewEgg will no doubt have another special 5970 day for $299 again soon.

NB We want to buy in bulk but not 1s or 2s - so (with respect and thanks) please no "I have a single 5970" messages

Let me know Smiley

OK I've managed to find 69 5970s Smiley

Now I need motherboards, cpus, psus.

Anyone selling in bulk? I need 23.

Please don't message me if you're selling 1s or 2s - I'm looking to buy from a single source and have everything shipped over to Australia.

Thanks for your interest

Hey Wynand,

It does concerns us that you wont take photos of the product - because they're locked up in a warehouse?

It also concerns us that you only want to accept BitCoin for payment and not accept payment via PayPal which would protect us both, even though we've offered to pay the PP fees.

Now that I've offered to actually fly over in person and pay in cash if you send photos of the product, I would have thought you would jump all over the chance?

Put yourself in my position. You don't need a big nose to know this deal smells funny. Would you buy 60 (even up to 120!)  cards sight unseen with absolutely no evidence that they exist? On the basis that you would send us 1 card once we paid for it? (by BitCoin)
I doubt it.

Please don't get me wrong, I would love it if the cards were real and if you could back up those claims with some photographic (or otherwise) evidence.

Cheers
I think you're confusing me with someone else.
It'd be insane to accept 10kUSD through paypal as there is no seller protection whatsoever, you never even asked to pay through paypal, I *offered* to pick you up at the airport and drive you to the datacenter where the whole setup is currently still running, I *don't* take bitcoins as payment method (cash/wire(SEPA) transfer only), I never said anything about 120 GPU's and you never asked for pictures (which I for the record, actually do have).
AFAIK you offered 10kUSD for 20x P6T7WS, 20x OCZ 30GB SSD's, 20x i7-950's and 40x HX1000 PSU's, which is currently new 28100USD. I offered to ship it assembled or to ship it in original boxes with accessoires (shipping assembled would save me a lot of trouble though). I am not taking a third of the current new price as deal to let it all go at once, I'm sure you can understand that too.
But given what you've written above, I do believe that you are confusing me with someone else. My mailaddress you can search your mailclient for is administrator at .be.

My apologies - wrong person Smiley

This guy's got tons of 6990s: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/used-xfx-6990-cards-large-stock-51000

He's new, though, so watch out for a possible scam.
So apart from linking pictures linked from a domain name that could be traced directly back to my address and a link to a website with 12+ verified well-run sales, how much more would you expect me to do for people not to see me as a possible scammer?
We're already in contact with each other though.

Thank you to all the people that got back to me.

It appears we actually need 60 cards, not 30.

I've had some reasonable offers so far, if the lowest priced person can come up with 60 instead of 30, we're away.

It was merely a heads-up.
Thanks for this Smiley

Turns out Wynand isn't just legitimate, he's a pretty decent guy to deal with.

He has some great gear on sale. If I don't end up buying it all, anyone here after gear should seriously think about approaching him
