Bumpity bump.
think old non working mobos are going to be too much trouble to try and repair. I may be interested in working mobos with processors.
I think I have a Core 2 duo, one of the first ever released 1.6 or 1.8 which I did do some over clocking with when I was using it. I also have Core 2 Quad but that is in another working board.
Those MB are dead. The ABIT board did work until I tried to flash it and it crapped out. I even bought a new bio chip for it because it is a good overclocking board, but its still not working.

I believe you are correct. I like throwing shit away once I know it aint' going to work... (by throwing away I mean recycle of course).
