Can you explain to me why anyone would sell you a BFL Single at a LOSS when you can trade in a BFL Single for no cost for a BFL Little Single ASIC? Seems silly.

Hey guys, new here.

I'm just loving the whole BFL talk on here.

I've just put in an order for a Jalapeno. (Not interested in any bitchy comments)

Was just wondering if it will work using cgminer and Gentoo Linux.

Any ideas?

Ta.

Apparently they are waiting for confirmation from their chip manufacturer.

i hope that's all :/

Still? Every week it has been a conformation of something or other, I am selling a single but at trade-in price and BTC only, But that does not help you as I am far away and postage would be loads, Good luck anyway.

You wanna buy FPGA with ASIC around the corner?
There is no ASIC around the corner, it's all a scam.  BFL Singles, however, are here to stay.
I dunno if they're a scam, but the stated shipping dates are probably off by ~6 months.  (BFL Josh mentioned somewhere that the BFL ASICs will be done shipping at the end of January 2013 now, assuming no "snags or anything")

In the realm of conspiracy theories, maybe you just want other people to refund their preorders so that there will be less ASIC's in the pool when you say... receive yours?
I've cancelled mine last month.

those photos you speak of have been the topic of conversation for some time now.  many are saying they are not legit.  some say they are the same board twisted 90 degrees, and others say it's a fake because the chip markings have been sanded off.

Overall, those appeared to be pretty shady and skeptical pics of the prototype.  I would strongly at least consider getting a refund on the preorder while they are still honoring them.

Boards are fake because chip markings have been sanded off....do you really believe this? Every manufacturing company removes any/all markings off IC's, chips etc on prototypes.
