Maybe we come from different places but I and the people I associate with dont even notice cars if they are old. Sure there is a nice old custom show car bimmer out there but chances are it's gonna be more then 10K and yeah a 95 bimmer unless it has 5K miles is a POS and even with 5K miles I would not look at it twice!

Anyway..

Well each to his own I guess, Bob. Some like good old music and some like new.
I just wonder what you would call a 95 Geo Metro if you call a old BMW in nice condition "Junk"?

Anyway OP, just be careful if you wanna buy a E60 series. (BMW 5 Series 2003 - 2010).
I have heard that there is a lot of issues with these cars especially those in the early years of production.

LOL, I dont see 95 Geo's around here. Really is rare to see a car from the 90's let alone one as shitty as a metro!

740-750-760 alpina b7, m5 m6 and z8... all over 100K.

But for real web?

you want a 15 year old bimmer and you want it to be flashy?

out here any bimmer at or under 10K is junk. But that's Canada!

I'm a total car guy. If you want I'd be more then happy to find you nice clean showey cars at or around 10K.

Let me know and I'll get to searching. I love finding cool cars on the net, Its almost a hobby of mine!

Junk? There is always people that don´t treat their cars like shit. Even with basic maintenance a BMW can handle 200K+ miles and still run like new.
I had a 95' E34 that look like new inside, it just a matter of taking care of your vehicle.
If the previous owner is a wealthy guy with a big garage and only drives on Sundays chances are that the interior is very clean.

look on ebay, you can buy 2014 7 and M series with zero miles for under 100K. some ask more but price depends on the dealer. anything for 100K is a rip off.

for real mr bob. i know how to hunt and i know how to handle my money. i'm not trying to buy anything i want a deal and 10K is very reasonable for a used car that is both clean and flashy.

you can find clean cars that are 10-15 years old dude. look at this one. that shit is 92 and clean as fuck. if i had the space for it i would buy that shit.

if you want to help me hunt i would appreciate it, but i don't know if your hunting skills are as good as mine.   Grin

ya 2000-2005 is fine. don't really care about year just want clean and flashy. the only model that goes for 100K is 750 series brand new from the dealer. used 3 and 5 series is 5-10K all day.

i just sold mine for $5000. i could have gotten more but i just wanted to move it.

I'm assuming you are looking for around 2004 or older for that price range? I sold mine for $9500. If so I think your pricing is right on.

I don't even think the brand new M3s go for 100k.

it's really not unrealistic to look for 10K or under. i already provided 3 examples of nice cars under my maximum offer. i'm not buying from a dealer and paying top dollar i'm buying second hand on the internet. i know if i hunt for a good deal i will find it.

that blue Z3 is on ebay right now for 5K. here are 2 more examples for under 10K and that's before negotiation. i will jew them down $1000-1500.

That's kinda bad, but I laughed out loud at "jew" being used as a serious verb here.

nope, 10K is more than enough to find a clean BMW.

Where, so we can all buy them up and resell them for blue book at >200% what we paid?
