Is there an overview which redemption cards have already been found and how many are still open?
An overview with the public keys would also be nice.
And how long does the redemption program actually run.
If I open one of my series 1 boxes in 10 years and there is a redemption card inside it would be nice if I could redeem it  Cheesy

They stated they would give plenty of notice before they ended any redemption program.  But like you said anything is possible. If they go out of business that could be bad if you were holding an card still. Although Id say your probably good for now. I think business is booming and its safe to keep your boxes for a year or two.

I know of officially 3 BTCs that have been redeemed

Also not sure if you guys saw. The missing MR holofoils will appear in series 2 as gemstone refractors. Check twitter for official post

Do you have the link to that post?
I looked on X and could not find

I want one to hold. Be almost better if it's weighed and I know nothing big is in there. Or I'll want to open it. Course could always be a 53cs. Dm if you can sell me one please.

Thank you Cryptogreatdane for the information and by the way good Youtube videos.
I think I will also leave a few packs sealed and safely stowed.
To these packs then come the same number of series 2 boxes, which I could also slowly pre-order  Roll Eyes

I have a sealed box (of 10 cards) that I was holding onto. Maybe you are right and I should just rip it open. The temptation is really great, lol.

That's why an official statement from Cardsmiths would be beneficial to ensure that after the sale of the series 1, redemption cards can be redeemed for x years.
And an overview of the public key for all redemption cards.

Out of the 5 or more 1 BTC redemption cards, I am aware of only 2 that have been found.

I don't like the idea of saving unopened boxes for 10 years, what if you hit a 1 BTC redemption and BTC is worth $1 mil a coin, could Cardsmiths even afford to pay out if they haven't kept some BTC aside for redemption cards. Who knows if they will even still be in business then.

Rip those packs  Cheesy

Why is it the other Bitcoin cards https://btc-tc.com/ bringing like $8k for a series 1 sealed box and these not going to be the same.   This tread made me go on eBay and buy a sealed 12 back box.  I had to get in on the action. The collectable forum always cost me sats whenever I go on it to read up.  Lol
Bitcoin trading cards- theyll be going into series 3 next. Way less mintage but yes have been popular and secondary market has been big. I love that all there cards are btc themed. I dont like the quality as much and there set up isnt as good. Cardsmiths draws you in with the refractors, redemption, mr, CS, Holo. But im collecting both but way less btc trading cards. I think this year we might also see some cardsmiths scarce city auctions

If you can find a box for $40 snatch it up and dont look back. I just paid $50 at dave and adams card shop.

Wow. Whatever's left of the series 1 release, is being sold out at a higher price. Imagine 5-10 years from now. Sealed collector and 2-pack boxes would be worth 3x their original price. I'm not going to miss this opportunity again with series 2. I will treasure a sealed 2-pack box forever (never going to open it). Wish me luck! Smiley

In 5-10 Years probably $1000 a box. boxes will be going for 3X by Christmas.

Does anyone have a sealed box of the Cardsmiths Currency Series 1 release? I want to buy one with BTC. There are a few on sale at eBay, but I think they are overpriced (please correct me if I'm wrong).

Shipping to the US. Please reach out to me via PM if you're willing to do business. I will take the best deal/offer. Thanks for looking. Smiley

These come in at least 3 flavors.  A 2-pack box, a 12-box inner case and a 48-box case

A 2-pack box is what I'm looking for. Thanks for clarifying, by the way. Wink

I would absolutely NEVER buy a 2 pack box secondhand. These cards were ridiculously easy to pack search. Simple scale and you will know if you have any hits in the box. Not perfect but really really really close to it.

Yeah, I know. But I wouldn't mind as long as the box is wrapped in its original plastic (sealed). I'd buy a sealed 2-pack box, and treasure it forever.

That said, I'm willing to buy one for $40 if someone's interested (assuming that's the lowest price they're going for). I have BTC ready for payment (want to save money on eBay fees and whatnot). Smiley

There’s some 2 pack boxes for $40 on eBay. Original price was $32 but I think you’re going to pay a premium now for them since they are sold out.

Most likely. But I didn't expect them to rise so quickly. Are the ones being sold on Gamestop still in stock (although they don't accept BTC)? Otherwise, I'll try my luck with eBay.

Agree with this. When series 2 is released,  folks will want a series 1.  That markup may seem small in months to come
