Any wallet that uses open-source firmware is > Ledger.

I wouldn't recommend a Ledger Hardware Wallet at any time. They finally dug their own grave with their announcement in May with 'Ledger Recovery'.
But I'm glad to see that more and more users are paying attention and switching to other hardware wallets. Wheter its Trezor, Bitbox, Seed signer or even Jade from Blockstream, which we have already talked about.
Luckily enough there are now enough alternatives to fall back on.

Hi Gazeta....Thanks for reaching out....but will need to pass as I might have one stored somewhere. I really lost track of what I have and don't thru the years. I guess I need to find the time to dig thru my stuff. Also ledger kinda left a bad taste in my mouth when the announced their idea of storing the private keys as well. Thankyou to all for the inputs...I mostly buy these as collectables as well. I am mainly a Trezor and paper wallet kind of guy. Thanks for all the feedback ye all!

Yep, you are right. He is the CEO of Blockstream.

To the jade wallet: Pretty nice wallet and the only one besides the Coldcard Mk4 which offers air-gapped transactions via camera.
In contrast to the ledger it is also fully open source and the price/performance ratio is simply right here. Would recommend this wallet as an alternative.
