+Bump, nobody has some cheap dusty H81 BTC Pro lying around or similar?

Thanks for the offer, but that would come up to about the same price than buying the overpriced Amazon ones and it would take a while to get them shipped overseas.

I have some powered USB risers I used for a few months. How many you need?

10 to 50 depending on their location and price.

You should check us out  Wink

We have risers and dual PSU adapters in stock and ready to ship from our California warehouse.

https://www.hashratestore.com/

I have bought risers from them, I can vouch that they are legit and offer really good risers for a fair price.

Alas, as i have said in my reply, a while back, the prices there are not what i am looking for.

You still building more rigs? How many GPUs are you up to?

Seems tempting buying more and more but the difficulty went up like 10% in 2 days. crazy at least price is up also.

Lol, enough to be quite happy. Yet not rich at all.

Yeah Diff is going crazy high, when the price stop skyrocketing i think it will be all over (The crazy GPU rush). So its a gamble. Or maybe it will stabilize at something comparable to ASIC, profit-wise but less lossy (in term of mining equipment value deterioration)?

I don't know. Either way Eth mining is a Temporary thing.

still seems like a used gpu could return 50% of its value within 2 months. whether you can continue to make return beyond that, oe have to wait for another gpu coin to be pumped, thats still decent and you could likely resell the card for almost what you paid

Are you saying current used GPU ROI is 4 months? Or?

True but right now its hard to buy 7950/7970/280X second hand. Those can be resold pretty much at the same price since they are at the bottom of the depreciation curve.

I bought out almost every single GPU in my city. I rather not buy new retail because those depreciate the most.

2 years ago, bought a R9 270X for like $250 CAD and sold it 1 year later for only $100 CAD.

R9 280X retailed for like $500 CAD and 1 year later they were going for $180 CAD.

Wish I got into Ethereum back in Dec-Jan

500CAD seem insane, thats what i bought 290's for and that was when the price was crazy because of the Scrypt rush. Regardless, at current profitability, 200CAD for one of these would be a great deal.

But there's cheaper better GPU on retail atm imo.

Also interested in nice powered usb risers. Cheers.

No big deal! It was nice almost doing business with you.  Smiley
I figured $10 was decent given that I was trekking out to Gatineau, but if they're that cheap locally then there's no real point. Good luck with building your mining rig.

Well, i mean Online, ebay. Shipped to here. As in domestically. Locally there's nothing here. But thanks.

No point in Trekking here if you have stuff though, you can just slap them them in regular post enveloppe for like 1$. Smiley

We're going to need a bigger heatsink.

USB Risers were introduced after I started GPU mining so I never used them but I never had a single issue with the ribbon risers.

And yes you can get them cheap from China but it will take 3-4 weeks to receive and by that time ETH mining might not be profitable anymore. If you buy from Canada you would get it in a couple days even.

I once even bought a riser locally at a huge inflated price of $20/each because everyday that the GPU was unplugged, was $10 of losses per day.

Time is money also

It took me 1-2 weeks so far (or would be less if you buy a big lot and get same week shipping) but sure. Regardless;
They're still available locally in Canada at 6-8$ each from retail. I'd buy those before buying ribbons ones at 10CAD, but either way, i'm not in desperate need. But i do use them when i run out of USB ones until i receive the USB ones.

Anyhow i've sourced enough for my immediate use. Thanks to those i've dealt with so far. But i will need more soon, so i'll continue buying at a small markup over China. Just not 500% markup.

Getting the frames is much harder than the risers, alas.

Interested? I can meet you in Gatineau.
Does $20 CAD for both sound good? You won't have to pay for shipping.  Smiley

Those are probably the best risers i've seen, they are both long and have a long power cable, the short ones are annoying.

Sorry but no, those are ribbon risers, so too expensive Sad
You can get the nice USB risers for 4-5CAD each brand new. Albeit from China.

Have you never seen the USB risers, asabeb?
