This might be another warning to avoid Binance. It might also be fud, however, with much of the billions in liquidations experienced occuring in Binance, it might also hold some truth.

Binance is in deep trouble with their margin lending platform and interest-bearing "savings" accounts. Investors funds are seriously at risk of being devalued. The best that can happen? Interest rates get reduced. The worst? Investors lose a % of their invested funds.

I want to buy the dip and Binance will not let me buy BTC at this price. It says trade unavailable. HELP?
Let it go. I was able to bought when btc was around $32k-$33k, wasn't too lucky to get $30k price but it was still good. Binance and other exchange also have very huge traffic on that time, so it caused people can't login for a while and we missed the lowest price of the dip.
At the time of fomo bear a few days ago, Binance was really busy so many people had trouble accessing it...

but on other exchanges, you can still buy BTC easily. FTX is a very good exchange too and my friend was able to buy btc for $ 30k there when Binance was stuck.

Moments like these arent really something new on where the price is hitting on the bottom or even on uprising momentum these platforms even the top tier ones do really
experience some lagg or errors when logging in and its true that we might missed up the right point on buying the bottom but at least we arent really that far honestly.
Currently the price is moving down again and i do see some opportunity or chance to buy up cheaper. Also there are still lots of ways for you to buy
not only on exchangers but also consider on p2p.

Who knows, maybe you didn't miss it. But, at least if anyone wanted to buy at this price, then there is your chance Smiley

It's a common thing now on Binance since last year when the bull run started. Here is what I experience too sometime back - The pain of trading in popular exchanges. Binance frooze during the BTC spike

Advice?

Start looking for other alternatives. Avoid trading on binance during times of very high volatility.
I switched to using Kucoin, FTX and Bybit

You can buy Bitcoin on the stock market through Robinhood.  As long as you have funds you can buy instantly.

You're not necessarily buying on the stock market (unless you're buying Grayscale's GBTC), but you're pretty much buying IOUs through platforms such as Robinhood where you can't withdraw your coins. This is a huge no-go unless you're not planning on withdrawing your coins but instead just planning on purely speculating.

Ah yes Robinhood the one that sells the stocks of their customers without permission and stops the trading because the company that owns them is getting a billion loss each trade during the Gamestop fiasco.

They had a huge number of traffic in a matter of short time and it’s expected to have crashed. Most of the times, in such dips, they have problem. If I'm not wrong, we had seen the same issue few months back too.
And last time, a lot of people could not close their position in future trade and had to incur huge loss. Did Binance compensate that amount? No. So, you know the risk of using such exchange, you must be known about the issue before joining Binance.

You weren't able to buy the dip but a lot of people who were trading on futures/leverage got liquidated because almost every top crypto exchange got stuck and people weren't able to cancel their orders, etc. Binance had the same server crash back on February 19 when BNB was hugely rising and falling.
Always, always set stop-loss order or you'll end up bad. Binance doesn't care whether you lose because of their server crash or not. Despite the fact that you got financial loss because of them, still, they aren't going to be responsible.

Yesterday, I was trading XTZ on Binance Futures, glad I use Hedge Mode and quickly do trade on both sides. It fell as low as 1.66 on Futures while the actual lowest spot trading price that day was 2.69. Then Binance servers got crashed and XTZ wasn't even showing up. Once things started to get a little better, the price went from 1.66 to 2.7 and then 3.59 just in seconds. Couldn't imagine the worst experience in my life. Glad I was able to trade exactly at right time and got even some profit but the anxiety and the pressure I experienced were terrible.

So, maybe you missed this moment but catch another one. Never FOMO! You'll regret it! And always use stop-loss order!

I don't know why many profitable platforms are interested in listing more useless NFT/ICOs/POOLS and not spending more money developing their sites.
BINANCE has a long chain of stalling or inactivity when the price changes sharply. Many people get a lot of mistakes for long periods without interfering with that platform.
I see that some commands are not being executed and the site is slow.

Buy it from somewhere else lol.

By the time I do KYC price would have skyrocketed again.

Forget it, I'm officially done with Cryptocurrencies'. Stocks make fewer profits for me but a better option (never had a crash moment trading in stocks.) If you can't manage the traffic, don't offer your business in the first place  Angry

I missed the dip, who will compensate me for that?  Roll Eyes Huh Angry Angry

wait awhile it might just dip again and by that time binance may let you login timely. i have the same experience with a dex that suspends depositing ETH and BTC, its like they know we are coming to also buy the dip but not allowing us to get some. we don't even know what the updates are.

coinbase is the worse of all. there is a thread about this just yesterday because when the crash happened their exchange also crash. it's been happening over and over, they still didn't fix it.

I was really not expecting Binance to become like this since they are the top exchange and probably they are the #1 crypto exchange right now but look what happened most of their service went down on the dip recently, even their P2P exchange.
I thought this kind of issue already solved by them since this have already become normal for them a few months ago.

This is one of the issues why I switched from Binance to FTX Exchange.

It was unfortunate. That was a very attractive price, after all.

I wonder why almost all trading platforms crashed at that point. Probably it was about their servers failing to contain the heavy traffic? It was not only Binance. Accordingly, the same happened to Coinbase, Kraken, Kucoin, Crypto.com, and probably more others.

I read even coinmarketcap and coingecko went through the same thing.

You have not missed anything I am seeing few opportunities like BNB, XRP, ETH, POLKA, Cake, and much more they are good investments IMO but wait some time you will see more dip.

Do your on research I am not asking you to invest in the above coins it is up to you I just shared my opinion.

I'm guessing that none of us here would be able to solve your problems besides telling you to use a different service. Probably contact Binance themselves instead? You know, the actual company of the service you're using. Tongue

Yes it's working now, but when the price fell to $30k it was not working. I don't believe this was a coincidence.

Again, who will compensate me missing the dip? This error was not from my side.

I don't have any issue recently when buying at around $30k.

What pair did you use? BTC/USDT?
Recently bought some at $31k with BTC/BUSD without any problem there might be an issue on your side.
You might be just deposited from your bank or credit card and buy? I'm sure they hold it to confirm the transaction first. Or you might be trading on binance US?

Ooopppsss... It seems you're not the only one who experienced the same thing look at this Tweet below.

Skrill is not reliable for buying during dips either. They suddenly changed crypto purchases from instant to 3 days processing time.

That borders on fraudulent practice.

I'm sick and tired from changing exchanges my friend. If I have to do that 3 - 4 times a year then Cryptocurrency is not practical and stock market brokers are more reliable.

It works. Try to use vpn it should work for you might be connection issue form your internet to their servers.
It can only be that. Binance is working.
