Is that Survivor like the old BBC program were everyone caught a cold or something and died. Then some survivors tried to meet up with friends and family.

I liked the BBC one  Grin

That is Survivors with an S. There are two different series of it. The original from the 1970s and the remake from 2008.

I liked the old one since I like classic TV shows from bygone eras. The new one was good as well but there were some elements that I didn't like (like all the lab stuff).

This is a nice site about the original Survivors: http://www.survivorstvseries.com/index2.htm

Holy Cow!!

Tanks for the link Tinus. That brought back memories. It was a great show for it's time. That site is great and I'll have a good browse around this weekend.

LMAO 1975 it first aired. I would have been 9 when I watched that LOL.

Thanks again mate.

It's basically a way to enter to win free stuff, like a swag bag. Which doesn't sound like much but it's actually very valuable (few hundred dollars). Of course, it's a sweepstakes, so you only have a chance of winning, there's no guarantee these coins will get you anything.

I thought it was actually kind of kool, it gets people thinking about [virtual coins] it would be really awesome if they used scrypt  to generate the coins, and if there was a way to trade them for btc, I would be really happy about that.

No.....not affiliated with CBS at all
I just used Google to look for more information because I thought you were kidding. lol This is the first time I'm hearing about this. and honestly I'm as surprised as you are. lol

I can just get a cheap VPS with BTC and that will do for XBMC too. The UK Government is making ISP's block sites over here. It sucks.

Dang, I dont know why it would say that, try just searching "Survivor Episodes" and the site is cbs.com but you could find episodes somewhere on the net,..

I just had a fucking brilliant idea for a tv station that generates coins as you watch it online though would be really kool or they could just hook up with an existing coin and generate the coins that way, or like a youtube channel that generates whatever coins you want, they could offer like 10 different coins and you could choose which one you want to mine while you watch whatever videos you want,..

Crazy Shit, and then they offer different things I can purchase with the coins if I sign in with twitter or facebook,..

I highly doubt its an actual scrypt tho, they most likely just base it off the time you spend watching, I have 30 of them now tho wtf,..

They should get on an exchange, I could trade them for btc LOL hahah
