There is no evidence of this wall on BTCCharts "historical" depth. Probably a glitch and nothing more.

Love it. Haha

I saw this same glitch with the same exact amount of coins (~60K) on Bitstamp right before we broke out from $190 and broke ATH.

Yes, it's a pretty good indicator  Grin

Yes, the troll wall omen!  I love it  Cheesy

How often, and when, are the snapshots taken for the historical depth?

That was a USD$15,000,000 sell wall.  That someone trusts an exchange with that amount of wealth is an impressive show of trust in BTC's infrastructure.  That the wall was taken down and price is now up a few dollars shows the owner of those BTCs doesn't believe price is truly going down.

You want to know what happened?

The whale put up bid orders to get a discount on coins, showed the massive sell wall, triggered a mini-panic selloff, had his bids filled, then removed the sell wall.  He got a discount and increased his long position further.  Does this sound like someone who believes the market is going to drop right now?  He's holding an awful lot of coins for a bear.

Gone! WFT is going on?  Huh
It was sold as far as I can tell. Kinda common in the past months - reasonably large walls appears, but not "huge" [Like, 400-800ish], then it slowly moves down in price until it fills  entirely.

it was at least a 30000K bitcoin wall. No such trade happened.
oh, dang? really? Im guessing you mean 30 thousand (Not 30 million) but I only saw like 700...

Yeah my mistake

or he's just trying to fill his bid orders..... walls have 100% ambiguous meaning.

And who will buy when these big sell walls are appearing very often last times?

no, the question is who will sell.... he wants people to sell to his bid walls. there is obviously support in the area.

The next real support is only at $260. Mark my words  Cheesy

+1, nice inverse head and shoulders there for everyone to see, lots of rejection from critical support, and no conviction from the bears.

Bears are waiting for bidside to be filled before another dump to $260.

who puts up a 30k wall and then takes it down? it was just a troll wall! back to the charts.

He is aiming to pop and deflate the bitcoin bubble. I agree with him.

Notice how we jumped right back up to where we started.  There is buying support at this level.  I saw hundreds of BTC sold in that mini-panic, and it was absorbed quickly.  Now we are right back at the same price.  This is no bear market.  This is a bull market waiting for the breakout.
