So the fucking moron keeps looking at my post history and keeps reporting my messages because it seems that it's a problem for this forum that, among the 400 posts I've written, there are 4 supposedly low-quality ones.

This is not a matter of me being a low-quality poster. It is a matter of moron constantly looking at my post history to see if he finds low-quality posts that should be deleted.

They might have been older reports. When you asked before I think there was still some unhandled reports against you in the queue so they might have just been handled.

However, why does the moderator delete my post when I give thanks to the campaign owner and doesn't delete the other similar posts in that thread and other campaign threads? Well, one reason for sure is because there isn't a moron reporting those posts.

Well they might not see them. If someone just reports yours or maybe one or two others then they probably won't go looking for other users posts to remove unless they see them when they handle your reported ones.

Btw, I gave two people negative trust. I hope the moron is not one of them. I'd like to think that moderators would take that into account when dealing with reports.

No. Like I said before it's someone who goes on reporting sprees reporting lots of these sorts of posts so I don't think you should take it personal as annoying as it may be.

WTF? What happened?

I created a thread promoting my website (which has affiliate codes) on a subforum.

Well, someone apparently reported that and I got suspended 3 days for "Spamming affiliate links". No mod told me why until I noticed it got nuked sometime after.

Do you want to have paid posts, but don't think that when reviewing your work, the manager himself might not like some of your posts?

If he doesn't like them, he doesn't pay me for the posts and if he thinks someone is spamming, he kicks them out of the campaign, as it has already happened.

You were simply advised to pay attention to yourself and the quality of your posts.

And I locked the thread after hilarious advice but I unlocked it because this is not a matter of quality or at least not just a matter of quality.

if the moderators delete your posts, then they agree, right?

I don't mind the moderator deleting my posts. I mind the pussy-moron constantly looking at my history to see if he can report something.

However, why does the moderator delete my post when I give thanks to the campaign owner and doesn't delete the other similar posts in that thread and other campaign threads? Well, one reason for sure is because there isn't a moron reporting those posts.

Btw, I gave two people negative trust. I hope the moron is not one of them. I'd like to think that moderators would take that into account when dealing with reports.

Chill OP, it happens to us from time to time. Even during my moments in signature campaigns, I had mine deleted and at one time, suspended over a months-old post and wasn't even informed where it came from.

WTF? What happened?

If that person has the time to sift through your posts, you have a devoted fan Grin

Do you want to have paid posts, but don't think that when reviewing your work, the manager himself might not like some of your posts? Consider this too. If you didn't have a subscription, the conversation about deleting messages would be completely different.
You were simply advised to pay attention to yourself and the quality of your posts. Criticism should always be treated positively, if the moderators delete your posts, then they agree, right? It turns out that at least two people didn't like something in your posts. Just find the right solutions from criticism.
Nothing personal, just friendly advice, be able to control yourself, don't get angry, it makes you stronger.

It's probably not personal. Sometimes people maliciously use the system to report on users they don't like, but there's a lot more people who just come across a post they perceive to be low quality then go through that users post history reporting any more posts they see so this sometimes leads to individuals feeling like they're being targeted, especially when a lot of posts get removed at once. The user who is reporting you is one that tends to go on a lot of reporting sprees on unsubstantial posters so it's probably not a personal attack. The only thing I can suggest is to put a bit more thought ands effort into your posts to make the chance of this happening less likely.

Hey, thank you for your constructive comment but I'm going to quote what I've just wrote:

Thank you for payment lightlord.

Happy new year everybody!

Thank you lightlord. Thank you also to our manager CryptopreneurBrainBoss. Merry Christmas and Happy new year guys.

I just got a message deleted, very similar to these two, and quite normal in these signature campaign threads, because a fucking moron keeps reporting my messages and a moderator keeps deleting them.

So, thank you Lightlord for the payment!

Him reporting my posts and a moderator deleting them it's just a waste of time.

Hey, you! Yes, you! I know you are reading me: you are a moron and a coward.

Come to this thread and explain why you keep reporting my posts, moron, if you have the balls.

Well, I'm beginning to think that someone is picking on me.

I remember a post similar to this one, opened by a member who participated in the same campaign as me, bitvest.io, and who complained that many of his posts had been deleted. He got angry and eventually left the campaign.

I just found two more deleted messages.

However, I'll leave this post open just in case more posts keep getting deleted and also to see if a moderator wants to add something.
Please lock it. If you have more deleted posts in future and want to ask reasons again, you can unlock it and update.

Let it open is not make sense as the answer is gotten. If you let it open, many members will leave other answers as they don't care to read previous posts.

*snip*

Really, don't overthink it. It's not like someone would gain something significant from getting some random forum user's posts getting deleted. People report posts that they deem as low quality. That's it. Some people just has far higher quality standards as you and I have.

Yeah, you are both probably right.

I think some people are taking a too tough line when reporting and also when deleting posts. I already said that in similar posts like this one created by other forum members.

I don't think anyone is targeting you but even if somebody was targeting you by reporting your posts as you said, then put in an extra effort on your posts. The good thing you now know the reason why your reply was deleted. Don't give them reason to and delete more of your posts.

Honestly I don't know if we just react differently, but I have felt so bothered to an extent of making a post on Meta if my reply ever got deleted. It's no big deal at all for me.

I just found two more deleted messages.

I really don't understand why this one was deleted:

IMO this can't be compared. This is what I called being result-oriented only.

The whole crypto industry is more stable now. In 2017, if you see a total daily volume of 20B you would be - wow, that's enormous! Now when I see 100B daily volume - meh, what a weak day...

Yeah, well. Many models actually make similar predictions. It's clear that the future doesn't have to repeat the past and even clearer that it's not going to repeat it exactly but most of the predictions I see for 2021 are somehow similar to what happened in 2017, so I think it can be compared. And many predictions do.

I was replying to a post that hasn't got deleted.

And then this one. I could understand up to a point that someone has seen it as low-value because it is a one-liner. But not all one-liners are crap and I've sometimes been merited for very short posts. I think it was relevant because we were talking about a guy who is not in the campaign and was spreading FUD:

I've just put him on ignore.

I wasn't paid for that post and I don't care. I sometimes write what I think and that's it.

I've seen Hero/Legendary members saying that they got a post deleted at some point, even though they are good forum members, so, no, I don't take it hard or personally
Yes, rank doesn't matter. When someone reports our post and if moderators think the reporter is right then the moderator removed that post. It would be for many reason, so we don't know what is the exact reason wrote by a reporter. Sometimes still I receive deletion messages. I really don't take it seriously if I am not a topic starter in case.

Including myself, and even the most quality posters that have like a 1:5 activity to merit ratio has some of their posts deleted at some point in the past. So yea, really no reason to be surprised. Just move on and continue doing your thing. Tongue

It's the typical reason that the reporter and/or the moderator thinks that the reply simply doesn't add much to the conversation. You might disagree and think otherwise, but that's that.

It's just one post, and various user's posts get deleted a lot. Don't take it too hard.

Yes, I was thinking that.

So, my turn has arrived.

Here is this thread:

Happy "I AM HODLING" day Smiley 7 Years ago the HODLING became the new religion.

I've just received this message:

A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by a Bitcoin Forum moderator. Posts are most frequently deleted because they are off-topic, though they can also be deleted for other reasons. In the future, please avoid posting things that need to be deleted.

Very nice post (the I AM HODLING one). I'm not sure if he was actually drunk or if he was trolling. Some people write like that or try to appear drunk when they write. That and his girlfriend supposedly at a lesbian bar make me wonder.

Apart from that, the price of Bitcoin was around $750 so he was completely right. I hope he has kept some of his bitcoin.

The same way, you can report (and delete) 90% of my posts.
