It overheated.The Arcade system's vents and overall quality was crap, causing it to overheat if you played too long. That's why many people (me included) just waited for the Elite system to come out.

Anyway, have you already sold the Dells?

XBox RROD are a fairly simple fix. I used to JTAG mod these awhile back.
