As the price has moved quite a lot, I'm going to open this to offers.  I'll formulate a new price soon, but if someone is interested, do feel free to post an offer.

A serious question - how do they fare in areas near the ocean. I've been wondering how rust would effect them
The body is stainless steel over fiberglass, so no problems there.  The frame is an epoxy coated steel.  Some cars that drove on the salt and rocks did get chips to the epoxy which allowed rusting, but it's not that common.  I've seen some photo sets where people bought one with those touches of rust and cleaned, re-epoxied or POR-15ed, etc...  A few people have replaced the entire frame with a new, stainless one, usually as a pre-emptive or visual measure.  This one lacks the rust.

Does this have the upgraded flux capacitor that only requires .69 gigawatts?   Grin
The included Flux Capacitor takes less than 90 Watts, as it is a car PC that runs music playback, navigation, etc...  Smiley

Can it take me back in time to when the mining difficulty was 20million and run my bitfury board the whole time?

Those were the days...

Damn, damn damn!! I would take this thing even without flux capacitor!
just driving one of these... heck yeah! This is style, not ugly modern cars (like nissan juke is the most notable one)
heck, I'd buy it if I had 300 bitcoins... I like this car not even because of the movie. I just love the design

Here you go, poor man's DMC-12.

VW Scirocco - can be found for the equivalent of 30 BTC.

That front end is so very like the DMC-12... but the gullwings are *necessary*.  :-)

As the Bitcoin continues to go strong, I'm considering lowering the price on the car.  Thoughts?

I think this is worth every coin, I would keep it "as-is" if the BTC price makes another jump then yes, You could bring it down a touch.

But as you have not till now and yeah price much higher.. near 50K now ... maybe will attract those potential buyers from b4
