It should be BUYERS CHOICE for escrow, we're the ones forking out all the funds. It should be who the BUYER is comfortable with. But, I understand some people are "control freaks". I retract my bid. TYVM

Absolutely not.   For a buyer to demand THE escrow is absurd.  If that were the case, then any scammer would simply select themselves as escrow.  Might as well simply demand the seller ship first prior to any payment or demand they accept an IOU, bad check, stolen credit card, hacked bank account, or hijacked paypal.

The seller is the one to select the escrow and/or gives various escrow options and let the buyer select from that.  Agreed that both should be comfortable with the choice should escrow even be needed.

Well stated Michail, the buyer and seller should agree on the escrow and not a single party.  Smiley

Just want everyone to be aware that BTC could hit $2k any day it wants pretty much. Anyway, OP can pm me I might be interested at 2BTC.

What does the price of bitcoin have to do with how much bitcoin this Casascius coin is worth? (Answer: Nothing)

Anyone interest in this coin should be contacting Bitmarket.io directly...not the other way around.
It shouldn't because you are selling the product and shouldn't effect the price if offer is in bitcoin not converted to any fiat form in anyway.
even if its funded.

Yes and bitcoin could collapse to half it's current price, I don't think speculation on where the price of bitcoin could be is really necessary in a sales thread.

Blazed as escrow. I've worked with him before and is trust worthy.

So was Fattcatts bid is not accepted since he is asking for an escrow you are not preevy to use for this sale?
I would rather bid on this coin then on the ones I was looking at in a previous selling thread.

Why not auction, seems to be quite a bit of interest?

Keeps Bitmarket in control of the bids. Auctions make the highest bid public, which allows prospective buyers to bid just a tad over it, preserving the real value they may have for the coin. (Michail1 excluded from this logic, apparently.) Bitmarket can now ensure he's getting the best offer from everyone because only he know's what bids have come through. Prospective buyers are less likely to low ball him.

Or...maybe he's a sadist and trying to keep the fun action many of us enjoy all to himself.

2BTC minerjones escrow
Minerjones does escrow on deals that he is not running for auction?
Does he have any handling fees and charges for his escrowing services?
Wondering on this for this auction because I would like to put in my bid but would like to know about the way shipping from minerjones would be handled if he does take this request from me.

I am sorry you feel insulted.

Here is an MS69 Gilt Silver (same as yours) which sold at auction, to me, for 1.91 btc just a few weeks ago.

I find it insulting you are so incredibly out of touch with market prices.  You have been trying to sling the same coins for years....

Anything under 2 is an insult
