Thanks for the information guys, I was only joking when I said it was too much Tongue.

It's a lovely coin Mr Nasty, I'm sure it wont take long to sell Smiley.

I've already received an offer of 2 BTC for both and 1.65 BTC for just the Casascius.  If nobody wants to beat one of these offers, you should consider these already sold.  It took a whole hour.  Shocked
Well I think it is safe to say that the 1.47 that I paid for the MS-67 Casascius tenth was a pretty good deal  Tongue

Stop reminding me  Undecided

OgNasty 2BTC for the pair is a pretty good offer!

A final deal was arrived at 2.15 BTC.  I need to check how many more 0.1's I have. If anyone wants to pay 1.75 BTC, I'll dig deeper into my collection.

Bit off topic here guys but if ANACS grade and seal a coin is it guaranteed genuine?

I know there are some fake Casascius doing the rounds just wondered if they are ANACS graded and sealed they are guaranteed genuine?

Sorry to hijack the thread.
Typically you assume that yes, they are genuine.  All depends on how familiar they are with what is being graded, which given the number of coins that have gone through I'd say is pretty safe.

I typically deal with NGC/PCGS and if they have any question about the authenticity of the coin they won't slab it and send it back as "questionable".

Thank you very much that's good to know.

It seems like the 2 BTC price was low given the offers I've received for the Casascius coin.  I guess this has turned into a Casascius coin auction, as I think the Kialara is worth more than 0.35 BTC.  Anyone want to go higher than 1.65 BTC?

1.65 BTC for the tenth? really?
Can't compete with that, go for it Smiley

Lel, I sold 8 for 0.65 each less than a year ago, I should have held them. Luck I have my MS-67 in a safe place  Cool

And yes Casascius are selling pretty good at the moment, my2 coins did not took long to be sold.

Yes, that is my impression too. The casascius market is HOT right now.... and everybody love Kialara <3

I think your price (2 BTC) is spot on.

How much for just the casascius?

You're probably not the only one thinking that Cheesy.
You can say that again Smiley

Not sure what the Casascius is worth on its own? Anyone know of any recent sales and how many there are?
I recently got one that was graded MS-67, via auction for 1.47 BTC, however I think the auction was a fluke for some reason, maybe because KoS was trolling on it.

Really? That's far too much Cheesy.
A MS-66 similar coin sold for 1.55 BTC here, and MS-67 is a much better grade then MS-66. Another MS-66 similar coin sold for 1.6 BTC here. I am sure that I can find other MS-66 sales for similarly high prices. A MS-67 tenth should sell for around 2 BTC or so

In my opinion is 1.47 a bargain for a MS67. MS66 sell for more.

Casascius 0.1 BTC (Ungraded) cost normally around 0.8 BTC... However they are not that easy to find any more.

The total population is 809.
