If the GPU is bugging, try flashing it to its original BIOS. You have nothing to lose.

Can someone tell me what happen in this forum?
The moderators support scammers  Huh Huh Huh Huh

I ask theymos who is a forum administrator to give me the Sick_Boy's IP and he answer me:

------
I only release personal info when it's extremely obvious that the person is guilty and acting in bad faith. This is not the case here.
------

Can someone tell me what is the situation then? Sick_Boy steal 20btc from me but for theymos he is a not guilty  Shocked Huh Shocked Huh Shocked Huh Shocked

I am now thinking that it was a scam, I had a card but when I tried to plug in the card, it was bugging my PC. The fan wasn't working and I had to change the bios to run the card

It was the bios of a 5870.

saykor don't send the BTC, he is not responding to my email since 2 days...

well, you received the card

you knew it was used for mining "since November 2010"

you knew the price is suspiciously cheap

you weighted your risks, you lost, nothing to whine about

lol it just amazes me the amount of scams going on in this forum. stop paying with BTC to new members with less than 30 posts. use BTC only to trusted members, and pay with reversible payments to new members. there's already a red flag when you look at his account history. he made this sale thread the same day he registered for an account on here. i'm sorry to hear you two guys got ripped off from yet another scammer

I was initially interested in these cards, but passed on the offer because the seller made three contradictory statements about how the card was used:

On the top of this post:
"I can get 415 MH/s at 950MHz core clock and 350MHz memory clock"
On https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.416226
"with this kernel on my hd 5850 I reach 415MH/s, I was at 400 before with core at 1000MHz and memory at 350MHz"
In a private message to me:
   "I was using them at 890/350 and I don't overvolted them. I had 370 MH/s per card at 70°C."

Sorry I didn't make this public earlier: I didn't want to wrongly accuse the seller of something I wasn't sure of.

415 MH/s @ 950MHz with what config?  It takes me 1010-1020MHz to hit that MH/s number.
