Hello @Tupsu,

This is not your topic but good that you have said your reasons Smiley .

For skycoinlab the plan is to get S7 miners.

Hi,

I'm just curious.
Why are you selling the antminers S5 ?

Answering to your curiosity.
I  only sell my miners for single reason. I purchase  them back  from Hashnest. Their electricity is cheaper than my own.  Today 117 x S5

My home miners will be S7 and water cooled S5 sets  in living rooms for the winter heating.

Yes please consider lowering the prices and you will have buyers right away.

I am a potential buyer only if the price is more fair.

what is the fair price for you?

I would take 2 at 1.3 per unit, But I would want sebastianju for escrow.

I am in UK but i plan on sending them to Allinvain hosting at labrador, let me know please.
If you are buying more than 5 units, we can review the price to be 1.4 BTC but not less at the current BTC rate.

Changed the price from 340 USD to 1.45 BTC/S5 miner.

Heading the right way. Specially with the S7 now announced.

Could you estimate Shipping to J8T 1S8?
shipping cost is $25 thru Canadapost .

They would still have to be discounted a bit more to take into account the 50% lower power consumption of the S7. Essentially the cost per TH between the S5 and S7 is the same so there is no reason to buy S5s if you can get S7 for the same $ and get the bonus lower power consumption. The only advantage I see with these miners is that you'll potentially have them hashing sooner than S7s.

Indeed, i would need them to be 250$ each to be better in a 6 months plan than the S7s. And i have dirt cheap electricity too. I will wait for now. I would be surprised if i can't see S5's for sub 300$ soon from people gathering funds for S7s.

We have low electricity rates here in Alberta but this deal would still take 7 months to ROI, and by then most likely BTC will halve, price will go to $100, or difficulty will go to 100,000P/hs

So buying this used miner, or buying an S5+ or buying the new S7 has the same ROI.

If you think this way it's better for you to not get into mining.

Cool. Good luck with your sales.

I just picked up some SP20s for 1.4 btc each. So yeah, I dunno, probably if I'm going to overpay I should keep with tradition and overpay for new gear lol.

This would of been a good deal only if it was in Canadian Funds.

Still worth keeping in mind as its already in Canada. And OP now accept OgNasty as escrow.

Right now this means 1.7BTC so this is definitively too much but when the price match the BTC price, i might be interested. Though i'm surprised they are still here as Allinvain offered to pick them all up in person in another thread.

I did offer him to do that, but he is not willing to budge on the price. For 1.7 it's not a good deal. He likely bough them in bulk and likely already ROIed and now he selling them at the same price bitmain was which means he is likely double profiting. This is of course an assumption but I could be right. Right now the biggest risk factor is the release date of bitmain's S7 miners. If they come soon then buying these S5s would've been a mistake.
I will sell it to you for 1.55 BTC if you come to pick them all up.

You're talking to the wrong person for that, i recommend revisiting Allinvain's offer. I don't know of any other "big enough fish" around here that could do that deal.
