I feel that seeing as yochdog is a trusted member, there shouldn't be much problem shipping the card back in order to get the refund. Even if he wasn't the best trusted member, what would you have to lose shipping back a broken card?

My interpretation on this is, the buyer had buyer's remorse, and decided they wanted their BTC back + any profits they would have made had they sold high and bought back in low.

Edit*
I'm not the one calling names, so I'm not the one who looks foolish. He has not fully refunded me, if you want to believe him there's nothing I can do about that. If you choose to believe someone based on their post count that's fine too. But I have a right to say what went down and let you know.

A guy has the right to get pissed when you call him a scammer if it is wrongful, so you actually do seem a bit foolish until some sort of proof is given. We aren't believing Yoch based on his post count, we are believing him based on his previous track record, as well as the fact that his defense sounds reasonable.

lol didnt think YD would do this and ruin his rep. I would not have issued a refund till I received the card back to test for myself, so seems reasonable and if the exchange could have worked in your favor, would you issue a refund to him? I think that is a chance we all know and accept that change in rate, especially these last few weeks. YD is straight, but then again I dont have a dog in this fight.

This is PRECISELY what I asked him when he was demanding more BTC back than he paid me.

Regardless, I always deal straight with every deal I make.....you can ask any one of DOZENS of people on here.  Thanks for the vote of confidence Segabtc!

Card did not work and was not tested before shipment, yochdog is not a person of his word and did not follow through with compensation.

Bullshit.

He got a full refund.  Bro is just butthurt because I would not issue the refund until I received the card back (shocking, I know)...nor would I compensate him for the exchange rate movement after the deal.

Nice try asshat.

Yes I have. If you want to do business with someone who there is no reasoning with, go ahead. If something goes wrong with the transaction even when its his fault, you are the only one who should be taking a loss according to him

Woah slow down. I've received dead cards from fellow forum members, but did not resort to calling them liars and scammers. Have you sent him a PM about this and tried to work it out?

Why does mining hardware comparison list 6870 as average 278.31Mhash and you say well over 600?

His is a 6870X2. It's a dual GPU card.

i dont think...no better than the 5970

Are you the Ralph Nader of video cards?

currently have 4 6870 banging away at 300MHS each right now, current temp is 73 room temp 78F, so yes the 6870x2 will easily do 600MHS, with a few tweaks the 6870x2 can get up to 650. Seen settings for 375MHS but cant make it stable on my box.  XFX / GPU @ 1000 MHz / MEM @ 200 Mhz / Voltage @ 1.187 V / FAN @ 40% / Temp @ 72 C / Flags: -k phatk2 platform=0 device=0 VECTORS BFI_INT AGGRESSION=6 worksize=128 FASTLOOP=false

Who said it was? He's selling it for a lower price than the 5970, and claims to get 600MH/s (where a typical 5970 can get ~800).
