I offer $2700 plus shipping.

2700 looking more attractive? I see that you're bidding on luke-jr's 2 singles... Let me help you fund it!

Its not like you haven't made your money back from your rigs... and think of how much hassle I'll be saving you for not needing to part it out...

naa the fees arent that bad

on a $175 electronics sale you pay exactly $5.38 in fees.

the 1gb models get close to $200 on ebay and half of these are the eyefinity six edition 2gb models

I posted a diamond 1gb 5870 for sale the other day for $175.00 + shipping and it sold within 5 mins of the post

maybe I could not get $200 for every 1gb model but I can certainly get close to that and certainly get that if not more for the 2gb models

yeah, but unless you overcharged for shipping, you only clear about $160 after the eBay electronics fee

anyway, yes, from a seller's perspective, if i was selling some 5870's, i'd probably put them with a buy-it-now of $190 or $195, w/o any auctioning at all.  pretty sure it'd sell.

but as a buyer, it isnt too hard to eventually get one for $175 or less, if you have a little patience (probably a week tops)

I know man it just seems too good to be true, its a very fishy situation, so far they are acting like they are working day and night shipping these things out but I so far have only seen proof of 3 actually being delivered.

one thing for sure there is more going on here then we (the community) know about.

thats probably what im going to do...

Im ready to order two BFL singles right now, but I cant get these guys to take my money!

(I placed my order to pay with dwolla about a week ago) still waiting to hear back

Cool, I want to grab one or two singles as well, but I worry that they won't deliver on their promises (shipping delays, excuses, etc). If you get yours give me a shout on IRC or here, and let me know. I will feel more comfortable handing over money to them then.

Good luck with the sale cablepair! I would so totally jump on this deal if I did not have in mind exactly what you have (migrating to FPGA). I love the 5870s and they make great mining cards, and if one can get them for $180 or below then it's a good deal.

Maybe just keep them and use the btc they generate to replace them piece by piece with FPGAs. So until you can match the hashing power of the whole GPU farm with FPGA miners just keep the GPU farm Smiley Just an idea to consider.

As a gamer, i would not pay $200+ for that extra gig.

its not just for an extra gig btw, it also allows you to run 6 displays in eyefinity

if I listed one of these 2gb models for $250 on ebay it would sell within seconds - gauranteed.
