You said a bit ago that you didn't trust the fan to run the card.
One fan is going bad....the other is perfect. I just didnt want it running in a closed case where it could overheat and I could not monitor it. In an open rig it would do just fine.

average going price of used 5830's is ~$75 in full working order.. So, $63 with bad fan is what I'd think is a 'normal' deal. Not a bad one at all, but certainly not insane either. ;p
I'm only pissed that the one day I don't check goods 20 times, this slipped by me. =)

read the OP....the fan needs replacing.....
If its a sapphire (i thought it was) use litium grease on the oil well under the sticker on the fan.
The buyer will have to give it a go.....It is boxed up for shipping.
