The offers I received for btcbug.com (was .5BTC) and xbtbug.com (was .25BTC) have expired.  They're up for sale again.

I am willing to sell individual domains, yes.

The type of person that will buy 500 domains at one time is a professional domain investor.  I agree, most people would have no interest in managing that many domains or bearing the renewal costs of approximately $5000 per year.  But when treated as a full-time business, $5000 per year isn't so intimidating.

These domains are not all up for renewal at the same time.  You can find a searchable database of all of them, including expiration/renewal dates, here:

http://www.btcdoms.com/portfolio/portfolio.php

Individual offers are welcome, don't be shy.

Would you sell individual domains or only in bulk?

I agree for this. I highly doubt someone would buy that many website for 85btc, they probably don't even have time to deal with all of them. I suggest you sell each one by one and sell the worthiest ones first in the auction page.

Also it would be very expensive to renew them all when they're close to expire.

Wait, so you are asking about $24,000 for 500+ domain address that prob costed you like $1-2 each.

Props on if you get a buyer.

Thanks for your encouragement!

That would be amazing if domains were only $1-2!  Lots of times, there will be offers to buy one domain for that price, but if you're buying or renewing multiple domains with one registrar, even in bulk, it's more like $9-12 each depending on the scale of your portfolio.

Consider that if you hold a domain for longer than 1 year, your investment in it increases by a multiple of the initial registration cost each year.  That and that most good domains have already been registered, so scarcity plays a significant role in pricing.  Factor in site development and marketing costs and now it begins to become more apparent where the margin in these propositions comes from.  This particular genre of domains is getting a lot of speculation right now because well... it's bitcoin!  No one knows how far this thing will go!  Exciting times:)  For a lot of people, holding assets in the space, beyond just coins of course, is a method of diversification.

So what do you think?  Do I hear $23,000?  Give me a number and let's talk!

1 question about .co.uk; do I have to be from UK (with proving it with documents) to own .co.uk domain name?

You do need to provide a legitimate UK address to register anything with .uk in it, but documents are not required.

You should make a Google Docs SpreadSheet as that way it will be lot easier to manage the list of domains, and you can mark their availability too.
And not to forget it will look way more presentable and appealing.
Best of luck for your sale/s.

I've had offers for bittrauma.com and btcbug.com (.5BTC).

Prefer to sell the portfolio, but will deal in individual domains as well.

@CryptoNames - Hi!  I've spent a significant amount of time assembling this portfolio and building the turnkey directory sites, but honestly, I don't have the time or domaining acumen to develop them all.  Basically, this has been a great project for me, but I need to be investing the bulk of my time in the career I already have.

Ok. Best of luck with your sale !

Thanks!
