Yes you can, my step-dad did that and hes american with canadian residency.

I will have my US green card because my mom married an american, and while I am still attending school in canada therefore I would be able to file taxes in USA.

I can't wait for my US immigration to go through, then I will work in canada and pay taxes in US... so much cheaper!

Can you do that even if you work in Canada for a Canadian company?

no kidding..

I really hate the taxes upon taxes..

like what? wasn't my income tax enough? now that you have to tax me upon taxed money...

I am so happy that I get student benefits right now in my taxes, as I got back all the money I paid in taxes for 2011... now 2012 is going to be tricky considering half the year I am a student other half would be high paying salary Sad  I think I am going to have to pay them even more taxes on already taxed money...

talk about 40% of my pay every month getting taken from me, and then every year when I file taxes I have to pay them thousands again!! I am truly fed up with paying taxes.

As blindly as they flush your tax dollars down the toilet with their "highest industry salaries" etc, you have to hand it to them in that the 40% you pay is never actually yours. It's a very clever ruse, that 40% is withheld from you by your employer, and is paid "on your behalf". You make sure it shows up on your paycheck, and they make sure to hand it over to the gov't, acting as a double check of sorts.

And lets not forget the double dip that is the sales tax. They take a slice off of both ends, and you can pay your bills with whatever's left.

Wouldn't be so bad if they did something useful with it.

I am not 100% sure, but I rather not explain where 10's of thousands of dollars came from and end up paying an insane amount of tax..

either way I do not have any coins at the moment... ran out! should ahve more next week.

in the last month alone I have already cashed 10k..
I do not want to have to pay even more tax than I already am... As you already know canada loves to tax their citizens... and I am SICK of it.... talk about 40% of my pay every month getting taken from me, and then every year when I file taxes I have to pay them thousands again!! I am truly fed up with paying taxes.

In Canada "transfers received on a bank account" = income? Strange. Impossible.

How about withdrawals from Forex accounts (not income, you can even have lots of tax-deductible losses on the Forex account), loans, return of money you earlier borrowed to someone in cash or goods, moving of previously acquired savings from somewhere else, etc.

There are lots of explanations of incoming bank transfers, so that the tax office can't just classify received transfers as income. And they don't, at least in Poland. They'll only demand extra tax from you if you bought something expensive (like a house, boat, expensive car) for an amount that is not to be found in your declared income. Then you'll have to pay tax for this extra amount of assumed income (you must have had that you bought that house). But incoming transfers on your bank account? That doesn't prove its income, and the tax office doesn't even try, at least if don't receive >15k EUR in a single (or connected) chunk - only such transfers are reported somewhere. Oh, and the act of currency exchange is specifically defined in the tax code as tax-free. You'd only have to pay tax if you bought and then sold back the same pairs of currency at a profit - capital gains tax (on the price difference, not on the whole sum).

I have access to about 600/btc a week.
I would be asking for $4.90/ BTC
I will be accepting cash ONLY, face to face.
Any questions, feel free to ask!

A pity you don't take bank transfers, what's wrong with them?
I'd buy some by bank transfer.

uhhh
what the fuck? dude seriously, what the hell is wrong with you? CP really???

But yeah, Thanks for the vouch.

Remember, we're dealing with BTC, THE underground economy currency. Being able to reap in that much BTC in regards to it also being the #1 underground method of payment... is very good, I'm proud of you. Also, Deepweb.

Yodog is perfect to buy from guys. He sells cheaper than all online exchanges. Definitely worth it if you guys buy from him, and sell at MtGox. If I had the money, I'd buy it all, exchange, and cash out via bank wire @ Aurumxchange. Excellent profit for the buyer.

BUMP!!

I have over 1000 coins on hand!!

Dude, you need to be mass producing child porn underground to be receiving that much lol.

Yodog has my vouch. Meeting up and purchasing 20BTC from him was a breeze. He sent the BTC to my address through his phone, and verified it with me on Block Explorer.

Will definitely trade with him again when I need my next set of BTC.

hey guys, I am from the lower mainland, I spend most of my time in Burnaby, but I live in Surrey.

How about telling users what country, continent or something?

Google says one of these places is in England and the other in Canada.

What you can omit when posting in-person sales ads on a worldwide forum is the name of the planet, but leaving out the country is a bit... well, you know. Wink

Out of curiosity, how and when would you transfer the BTC if meeting in person, and what is the max/min value on the transaction, either in BTC or $CAD?

I would bring my laptop with me, and we can meet anywhere that has cell phone reception as I can tether my phone's 3g to my laptop.

Basically how this transaction would work is I would bring the agreed upon amount of BTC's and then once the agreed upon price was paid, the amount of BTC will be transfered to the wallet of your choosing, and the transaction will be shown in the block explorer.

at the moment I would not feel comfortable bringing more than 500-1000$ worth of currency due to potential for robbery.

obviously it would not be worth my time to sell less than couple hundred dollars, unless you came to me.
I am currently at BCIT 5 days a week, monday and wednesday 9am-9pm and tuesday, thursday and friday 9am to 2-5pm.

You can do it with your smartphone, but like I never did one of these in person deals, they are strange.
