If anyone needs additional proof these were put away for hiding for a while.

here is my post selling them in 2013.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1626439

and here is the post i made just after receiving them on Casascius' thread:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1543296

And i agree with OgNasty. I gave elianite the private key circles in case he wanted them as part of the whole set that i received from Casascius for collectors reasons.  Not so that he could create physical coins to sell them put together.  I would like to think everyone knows not to trust other people with your private keys.

These alluminium blanks are in no way worth .1 btc each (60$ seriously?)

These are not aluminum blanks, which sell usually for $1 each. These are nickel plated brass 5btc coins which are much, much rarer than the aluminum blanks made by him.

Firstly thankyou to OgNasty and Yankee for vouching for me, you guys rock.

Hey fuckface, I don't have to prove anything to anyone. Let alone you. The people that know me ( chainsaw, blazedout419, Michail1, BigBitz, Goat, nightlowace, etc. ) know what I'm about and what I do.  Furthermore I am more active in #bitcoin-otc than this forum peppered with trailer trash like you.

I find it highly suspicious he has so many silver redeemed 5BTC coins and has some fake stickers to go along with that.  I want to know where those coins originated from. It's very suspicious. OgNasty would likely agree. Especially wrapped in the form of a roll. Most people that buy mike's coins don't go around peeling them. Also I find it funny that none of those coins have any traces of the peeled sticker. Usually you have some residue left behind. All of those seem spotless. Furthermore you registered in Jan 2014. I personally wouldn't trust anyone post october 2013.  That's when BTC exploded, and that's when more scammers entered the arena to capitalize on the hype and higher value.

Its true that i registered fairly late, but as anyone can see from my history i have been a positive addition here. I also lurked long before registering, buying my first coins in February 2013. I also have dealt with your friends chainsaw, blazedout419, and nightlowace.
You may not be aware, but Casascius did not put holograms on all of his 5btc coins. He sold several rolls of them called `roll your own` with which he included sheets of private laser-cut private keys and generic gold-tone stickers as you can see in this ridiculously overpriced ebay listing
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Casascius-RARE-factory-ROLL-YOUR-OWN-physical-no-dig-value-do-Lealana-bit-coin-/181411572581?pt=US_World_Coins&hash=item2a3cf8eb65&_uhb=1
Basically Casascius sold rolls of 40 blank 5btc coins along with the things pictures in that listing, so individuals could make their own Casascius coins (perhaps deciding to use their own private keys). Obviously, this means that these coins have never been `peeled` so there would be no remnants.

that said, feel free to message me if/when you trust that this is the real thing and want to grab a few coins Smiley

Ok, everyone relax.

First of all.

Its is not suspicious these coins are in a roll. The fact they they are in a blue tape roll confirms that I believe they are legit as I got them from Casascius in the same blue tape roll.

@bitmarket.io and @eliante - I've done multiple business dealings with with both of you, so neither of you are scammers. @justbtcme I dont know who you are.

These coins are legit, they are somewhat rare and really cool. I used to have a few dozen myself but I sold them, now I have about 10 left

Also @OP I don't mean to sound harsh but I have to make sure you are all legit as well as the coins you are selling. I've been scammed before. And so have many others by people that were highly regarded. Please post as much documentation as possible. I am
Interested in buying a couple of your coins but you need to put our minds at ease.

Lol, wow, such anger.

Someone who just say shit without nothing to back it up is just plain ignorant and bored of his life.
Why are you still here? You are a scammer yourself. Get lost. Just looking at tomatocage's feedback on you 'Refuses escrow and insists on you sending first.' tells me everything I need to know about you. And yes. I'm bored with my life. What an idiot.

Lol, yes!!!!! YES!!!!!

howdy
It does have the blue painters tape that casascius usually used when shipping the coin and bars. They are probably dinged up because they are stacked on eachother (bumpy "B" jiggling around on the Private Key paper hole). Neither solid brass nor brass plate is immune to scratches.

You are lucky, I wanted to buy some of the junked 5btc coins but never did. Good luck on the sale.

I appreciate your suspicion.  I was also suspicious as well before doing my DD when he asked me to escrow this deal between him and longterm member and seller tymm0.  I was even more suspicious because they were sold to elianite with original Casascius private keys and I suspected that one of them may be tempted to pull a scam.  Before agreeing to escrow the deal, I let my concerns be known and tried to talk elianite out of offering them with the compromised private keys.  I assume if he was attempting to be dishonest, he would have put the coins together and put the generic holograms on himself while keeping the information relating to the private keys to himself.

I remember people accusing me of being a scammer back when I joined in the summer of 2011 because, "That's when BTC exploded, and that's when more scammers entered the arena to capitalize on the hype and higher value."

I have no dog in this fight.  If anything, I'm actually a competitor to elianite with this product.  It would be very easy and self serving for me to also pile on with the scam accusations, but it would be unwarranted here.  I genuinely think elianite is just trying to participate in the Bitcoin economy.

wow. fake ass coins.

please elaborate

Yes, bitmarket, he who buys everything casascius but shows no evidence of purchases, please do elaborate on why you think these are fakes.
