WEEKEND SPECIAL!

This offer is good until Monday...

You can select 1BTC (or more) from the main gemstone thread and get a 50% discount. Shocked

There is a little over 2BTC in stones here so the choice for 1BTC is great or clear the thread and own a pile of incredible stones.

I would like to get things rolling here so this is an amazing discount, for a limited time. This deal is over on Monday.

As a bonus... If you clear the thread and order all of the stones you will get double the garnets and topaz cabochons (so a total of 4 of the garnets and 4 of the topaz cabochons)!

I have added pics for MANY stones at the website and I'm just getting started Shocked

Specs and prices will be following soon but if there is anything that catches your eye let me know and I'll post details quicker for those.

In this lot there are:

Ruby
Garnet
Aquamarine
Kunzite
Tanzanite
Lemon Quartz
Citrine
Peridot
Amethyst

And maybe some I have forgotten but will get to listing when I post details.

There are still many more to come. I may start separate threads and categorize more to keep things manageable Wink

Just added a matching pair of garnets to the OP. They are very nice.

Also added several pics to the website and will be removing some shortly since items are being sold Smiley

The new stones coming soon are a Pink Tourmaline, a beautiful Amethyst and a nice blue topaz.

I have LOTS of topaz and garnets coming up.

I am actually going to start a separate thread for some "parcels" including citrine, garnet, peridot and topaz Cheesy

Bigger stones are coming too Wink

I'm in the exact position as you, I'm working on my photographs as well, there are all sorts of tricks you have to learn to make them really perfect, do you have a lightbox set up yet? That's one of the thing you need, you get some white cardboard or something, tape them to gether and then shine some white light from a desk lamp onto them, the card prevents shadows casting and making your photographs look all grey.

Holy shit, how did I not spot this before? I should browse the marketplace section more often but it's usually only spammers that get to the top, I'll keep you in mind as well as that Gemvault guy if I'm looking for anything in particular, right now I don't have the money to regularly afford stones like that though.

For others, he's taken some very good photos, they don't look like cubic zirconia from what I can see, otherwise they'd be too shiny etc. and look too 'perfect' which are usually the main signs of an artificial stone.

Thank you for the kind words and especially for being generous on the quality of my photos. They are getting better but are definitely not where I would like them to be. I try to provide as good a look as possible.

The important thing is as you mentioned, these are natural stones not synthetic or artificial. Everyone who has ever purchased stones from me has been very happy with what they receive.

More stones will be posted shortly.

Thank you! :-)  I'm not actually completely new, but instead made a separate account so that my home address wouldn't be linked to my main one.

Makes sense.
Welcome to gemstone buying Smiley

Thanks, that makes sense.  I'm still interested in purchasing them :-)  Do you mind if I ask devthedev to do escrow for us?

Escrow is completely okay. From what I have seen there are no fees associated with his service. Feel free to PM and we can discuss the details.

I will mark the stones as claimed Smiley

Thank you for your inquiry and from what I can tell welcome to the forum Smiley

Thank you! :-)  I'm not actually completely new, but instead made a separate account so that my home address wouldn't be linked to my main one.

Certifications cost from $50-$100 depending on the detail and type of report. Certifications would only be really valuable for some of the bigger and better stones I have. However after they become certified their value goes up significantly immediately after, as does their sell price.

In the case of the amethyst hearts they would not really be worth certifying since the cost of certification would be close to the value of the stones. The upside to amethyst is that because it is quite common it is exceptionally rare to find synthetic amethyst or stones that are misrepresented since it is not worth the hassle in comparison to other stones. These ones are definitely real and natural.

Hopefully that helps, feel free to ask any other questions you may have.

Hello!

That set of amethyst hearts caught my eye  Smiley

May I ask what the approximate price you charge to have them certified, please?

  Thanks!

Also...

I have an amethyst oval that is over 33 carats  Shocked

It is a light purple and would make a stunning pendant or ring. It is an excellent investment as far as amethyst goes, or it certainly will be when it goes up for sale Wink
