With I will work it out I meant, I will write all details and summarize everything in a separate thread. I have been tracing the transactions. He exchanged the scammed Eth to Ltc via Shapeshift and I am compiling all the Eth and Ltc addresses that are connected with him as well.
I will upload all the photos and create a thread with all the details about his method, pictures he uses, crypto addresses and so on. So people can stay away from him. It also looks like he hacked an Ebay account in the past, sicne one of his Eth addresses is connected to a sale on EBay which looks like a scam. He also mined 0xBitcoin in the past. It is a learning experience and it will make me more cautious and other people can learn from my mistakes.

I will spent some time and find out everything about this guy, that I can.

Also I have the strong suspicious, that bitbemining is the same person as the scammer. I was in contact to him through PM, since he said, he also got scammed and I wrote to the scammer:

I can see that you still have the Ethereum in your Eth account.

If you don't send the Ethereum back to me within today, I will contact law enforcement and make sure I take all the appropriate steps and involve the authorities. I am sorry for your situation, but stealing is never something you should do and I believe either the authorities or god will eventually punish you.

Then I wrote bitbemining that I will will try everything to get this scammer down and he replied:

Being a catholic, i forgive him. $180 is not bigger than life of a human tbh. We live in a rough world. Bad conditions can make us do horrible things. I'll pray for him and leave it upto God to punish him. As for you my friend, do what feels right to you. Before every step think of yourself in his position and think of possible reason he could have done it. Pray and divert your mind.  hope it'll help.

I had never mentioned religion to him and within a couple of minutes, that I wrote to the scammer god will punish him (I am not religious, but I just tried to see if the scammer was) bitbemining wrote me that he is religious and forgives him. I cannot prove it but this is a strong suspicion.

A little taste of the LTC addresses associated with the scammer:
This is the LTC address where he exchanged the Eth to with Shapeshift: LZSSwtpSetF467vbtMS4C2xXJYaMDV68ZX

I am in the process of tracing all the transactions from this point to their final destination. Will take a little while but let's see where the money went.

His Crypto bridge LTC wallet:
LU9y3wvyPKMizJKbRzkrnNxxDjm2KVCmYY

His Poloniex LTC wallet:
Lg7pBj3b2PvsFzK6p3yKHfBgPjMB9UPMVC

His 1xBit LTC wallet:
MMd9jwoW2VdteY8LSbjfpXGWeKRXBFeF43

His other LTC wallets
M9dTRmEh42HyUiFHGMnbZAs2HoUu6hBED5
M9dTRmEh42HyUiFHGMnbZAs2HoUu6hBED5
M9BCDMZwFDxYv3WjdDAhpXcPs8Fohd1agT

I have to do a more in detail analysis of of the blocks tot ell for sure where everything went, but I am confident with a little bit of automation this should be easy.

The number one thing EVERYBODY needs to learn is USE ESCROW ON THIS SITE OR PASS ON THE DEAL!  If it's too good to be true it probably is.  Read the pinned threads, they are there for a reason.  Pay attention people......  Roll Eyes

Just checking back in on this thread, because I hate to see someone get taken for a ride or allow a scammer to waste everyone's time. There's no reason for scammers to create threads like this once we are able to safeguard ourselves from their nonsense.

He was asking too much for these so he also said he had some other card which he was offering for good price.

I corrected your post using the bold text. Wink Doesn't seem likely that he actually has any of these cards, which would explain the ability to offer such an attractive price. I'm sure he will claim to have a card at any price point, the man just wants to walk away with some easy funds.

I actually video chatted with him for a second and he sent me a verification picture of the GPUs and a piece of paper with the date as well as his face.

Do not rely on video/photos for a sense of security within a trade. Make sure your money doesn't move unless you are sure of what is happening.

I think this is a scam. We agreed that I would pay a small amount of money for shipping first

Whenever someone asks you for an arrangement like this, it's a desperate scam. They know they have you on the hook and they'd be happy to just walk away with shipping money.

Well, lesson learnt I guess - at least I have his picture and can plaster it all over the internet with scammer written underneath it in case he does not ship it.

I would make sure it's actually a picture of the person performing the scam, before you beat-up the wrong guy.

Have you created a Scam accusation/report thread in the Reputation section? It would be helpful if he attempts this on another account in the future, might allow us to hone the search. If you are uncomfortable doing this, I would happily create the thread for you. I would require all the evidence in order to do so, though.

The guy just wrote me:
"Sorry, Deshan here. I faked my identity and everything to make you pay me. I needed money to buy my kids presents for their birthday. I am sorry and i feel very guilty of myself. I am a poor black guy and you know how rough it is for us, living on community funds. These $300 were used ti buy presents for my kids. I will return your money as soon as i have them from somewhere.  Can't tell time but soon i will.

Thank you Sebastian,
Love Deshan Young & family."

How many of their kids could possibly have the same birthday? Poor people don't spend $300 on birthday presents. This person is continuing to lie to you with every sentence. What does being black have anything to do with this?

This message actually leads me to believe that his real identity was used. Anyone else would've just faded into the shadows, but now he wants to make it clear that he faked his identity; this screams "returning to the scene of the crime", to clean up his tracks.

So definitely a scam.

We tried to warn you. Sad

No need to further discuss it
I will work out myself.

I disagree. There is action to be taken, precautions to implement, but remaining silent and just taking it on the chin will allow for this to happen to the next person.

So definitely a scam. I told him he can return the Eth or I will post his pictures all over the internet and also involve authorities. I just don't like injustice so I will try everything for him not scamming others.

Make sure the picture is of him because he could have used someone else's picture to send it to you while pretending to be as you to him. I'd suggest you to get the ip and track him using it. The picture one is bad idea because it could be of anyone innocent and it'll end up ruining his life.

I am 99% sure it is him, I saw him in video chat and also he sent me  a picture holding up a piece of paper with the date and my name. I think through Reddit and such we could find him. Scammers deserve to be exposed.

Picture with a paper can be photo shopped easily. Anyone can do it for money. You can take someone else's picture and ask someone to edit it realistically according to your criteria. It's a fucked up world my friend.

No need to further discuss it and blow up the thread.
For the people here it is just important to know: Don’t buy from him everything else I will work out myself.

Yeah hope he's from US. Otherwise FBI won't be helping you on international case for $300. How did you payed him? If it's crypto currency then there will be no proof that it's account. Food for thought.
One thing that will happen is all bitcoinforum members will get aware of him.

he'll pay for his sins eventually. Scammers are very smart these days. You don't even know if the picture is of him or not? Or if some innocent guy gets dragged into this lol, because no scammer shows face no matter how dumb he might be. I'd take $180 loss as a charity given for well wishing for my family.

Ok, his e-mail is not reachable anymore. I actually video chatted with him for a second and he sent me a verification picture of the GPUs and a piece of paper with the date as well as his face.

I think this is a scam. We agreed that I would pay a small amount of money for shipping first and then after that he would ship them and when they arrived I would pay the remainder. I thought because of having a picture of his face and everything I would be safe, but his e-mail address all of a sudden disappearing after paying for shipping screams scam to me. Well, lesson learnt I guess - at least I have his picture and can plaster it all over the internet with scammer written underneath it in case he does not ship it.

Yeah i saw his ad about gtx 1070ti and gtx 1080ti. He was asking too much for these so he also had some other card which he was offering for good price.

Has he shipped it to you yet?

Not yet. I am waiting for his response. I hope everything'll be fine.

No where has OP posted anything about a rx 480. You made an account yesterday, and are claiming to have bought something from OP, which they are not publicly offering for sale. If you actually did purchase something from this fellow, then I am sorry for your headache in advance. Multiple members have warned against dealing with this user, and I would not be surprised when this deal goes south.

I just don't see it being realistic that you read through this thread, and thought to yourself "Let me see what else OP has in stock".

I just spent ten minutes on eBay.

No one is selling a 1080ti as buy it now under 550 with shipping.

And this guy is willing to sell at 400.

As I said be careful

You've already have multiple people say they would happily purchase your card at $450. Why did you lower the price? Why are you avoiding answering my question regarding escrow?

I think youve found them out bill lol.
