Um I paid $134 that includes shipping for refurbished IBM 2800 watt platinum psus
I'm pretty much locked into those since I bought two jaberwock breakoutboards along
With the bunk psus he sold me,

Why would I pay $130 for a refurbished evga anything

I dont want to go back and forth with you if anything I was more anoyed with his response , I definitely know I wont every buy another used psu of this type not only did I lose the $200 I paid for the psus but also the week of downtime
The failure cost me.

$135 each for the PSUs only? Am I reading that right, that is not the way to do it since you started off paying a massive premium..

I would say like anyone else you need to work the economics but with the PSUS themselves under $100, with any real quantity under $50 you would need to drop 10 of them for 3000W of 94 platinum EVGA power to take a hit.. Perhaps you had bad luck with the batch you received but with the hundreds I've even sold myself tells me there are piles of them in the community and I don't see a big uproar..

Like anyone using hardware like this mileage can and will vary..

Why don't you save your comments for a review thread... Let's see 2 died out of how many? With a price point of under $200 for 3000W of power at Platinum ratings I'm afraid you might be aiming for the stars, most of my buyers buy a few extra because they aren't lying to themselves..

I haven't seen a higher percentage of failures with these as compared to my EVGA G2 PSUS I purchased new, yes new power supplies can fail as well, in the end I dropped 4 out of 20 EVGA PSUs in the first year, lost one out of perhaps 15 of these so far (15 I run myself)..
Lol a review ? I was burned on these so honestly I'd be doing the community a disservice
If I didn't express my experiences with theses.

1 out of 15 I doubt that I had two go out in less than 3 months, the difference from these with a normal evga psu is at lest you get the 5 or 10 year warranty with this you have zero recouse when not if the fans fail and they go out.

I contacted jaberwok when the first one failed his response was of the tough luck ilk,  when the second one died I just ate it.  I ordered two referbished ones from eBay last week at $135 each I'm not going to sweat it.

I'm just saying buyer beware on these used psus

Have a stock pile of these PSUs left kicking around, I will sell singles but prefer to sell 20+ at a time since it starts to make the per unit shipping cost not too bad.

Offers considered depending on size of deal and location.. BTC or Paypal is fine... 86 PSUs shipped out so far, more available...

Single PSU - $60 + shipping (approximately $10-$25 depending on location)

20+ PSUs $55 each shipping included to lower 48...

I also have PSU kits with J4bberwock boards and PCIe cables, I have about 25 kits on hand now, if a quantity buy is desired I will cut a deal similar to the PSU deal for larger orders:

1 - IBM 2880W PSU
1 - J4bberwock breakout board
8 - PCIe cables (let me know if you need more)

$150 USD + shipping (east coast of US)

I would not recomend this gear , i dont know if its becase of the breakout boards or the psu's being old used POS but

i had two PSU's die in a matter for 3 months after purchase.  Now i have to resot to buying brand new PSUs from Ebay to replace these doorstops

if these ones die too it has to be an issue with the breakout boards.

The cables on the other hand are great but i would be cautious when purchasing the Heavily used PSU's and Breakout boards

How many you have left? I'd be interested in buying one complete kit shipped to USA. Actually I changed my mind, make that 2 kits, one to US one to Canada.

I can set you up with two..

PM me with location in Canada and US and I'll get you the total.

I'm not very verse in electrical, but I have a NEMA 5-15 outlet that's labeled 208v.  I don't have a multimeter to test it out but I'm wondering if that would power the PSU.  I just don't want to spend the money on the PSU and board and find out that I can't use it.

208V implies 3 phase power, possible but it may be worth putting a voltmeter on it to check.. I assume you will find 220-240V

Hmmm isn't NEMA 5-15 125v?

Yes however it's common to see it used in PDUs running 240V in the states...

Do these come with any sort of power cord?

I haven't been including the power cable since I have found buyers using a combination of different types, If you want a C19 (the PSU end) to NEMA 5-15p (US three prong), or C19 to C20 (C20 is what you would see on some PDUs) I can also provide, $12 for either
