If you have a titan and use this X bracket to open up some air flow.....repaste with the gelin(sp?) extreme thermal paste/ get the Noturua 3000 rpm fan/ get them nice copper
heatsinks for the dc/dc's you SHOULD be able to run these for another 22 months and of course lightfoot here on bitcoin talk can fix them and the gen tarkin 3rd party firmware can regulate them heat wise etc....so hell it is great..main thing on above mods is my unit went from 700mh to 735mh solid on repaste etc above and my die temps went down 10c to 15c so
when I checked in my 84F basement all the dies were running cooler then last winter when my basement was at 60F lol

It is the tricks we have learned and the 3rd party support..but getting rid of that kludge of a knc heatsink and using individual heatsinks for the dc/dc's and the 3000 rpm fan with
the X bracket here...man 10c to 15c drop after all this (about 60 bucks a cube if you count 3 bucks a cube toward paste that is) well worth it

more stable no hassles and of course the thermal paste I had to scrape off after 22 months .(not a good sign) so there is that if you've got them used or run them a bit (that would
be all titans imho that need to be repasted at least asap...so as long as you are at it go full hog above is my advice)

As to why Titans and scrypt has lasted....no one has made anything bigger and at least for LTC more share of network as other stuff drops off the other end

The A4's coming out in 2 months at 280mh and 1000 watts may even HELP the Titans imho and scrypt coin and LTC price..in that it will show that scrypt is not dead and new
equip is being made for it again...considering the above is equiv in efficiency to a 325mh Titan running at 1250 we will have no issues

(unless they sell them like Toasters etc..which is possible)

So yeah the 3rd party support/firmware/being able to fix them is huge......my stuff should be good for another 2 years the new stuff I have will be modded right away to this norm

sometimes it pays to be lucky.....I sure needed it ...mining at 1.30 LTC price all of 2015 or whatever and praying for 4 buck coin and then moved like 8k of LTC

But I'm shouting this from the mountain tops...get these X brackets I mean they are 10 bucks for crying out loud. Do the mods etc...if for no other reason for peace of mind in
the 10c to 15c temp decrease......and of course get the 3rd party gen tarkin firmware that as far as I am concerned is 'magic'

The only way to go from now on imho ...and I guess we pray for a BTC (Mario) to LTC (Yoshi) price pump to pull them along a bit easier come Winter when I heat my house again
for free lol

I'm amazed at how well the Titans are holding their value.  Between my gear for folding and my SHA-256 gear, I've seen exponential depreciation with most hardware.  Not scrypt gear though. 

Anyway, I aint going to complain!

Not sure but I'm making $$$ on my Titans with some at 14.6c kwh ....will be like 11c kwh in middle of Oct and I can heat my house with them again (last year 3000 watts plus
this year 6000 watts plus)

anyway why sell....many times tempted ..many times BTC and LTC price have gone up and saved my ass. I mine LTC and put about all but 10% to BTC from my LTC when
the ratio works.

Anyway just wondering..thou I did see this on ebay a cube ..fully working supposedly going for 1000 usd ...go figure maybe I should sell a few of my 1/2 working stable cubes?
