Ok, I'll bite...

I'll send you a message, and I'll let everyone know the outcome.

And no, I'm not a shill or troll everybody. As I just explained to someone in a PM (who can confirm):

"...I'm stupid but not that stupid. They got me for a few other things out of curiosity and lack of time to do the research tho.

Hey, if I have money I don't mind spending it for whatever I want or need. I'm old school and wish more people knew that about that and how I do business because I'm always looking for deals and looking to learn and earn, but so many people are desperate or have been burned too and its hard to find anybody to do good trust-worthy consistent business with."

Lifetime support... hhhhmmmm...
I'm more interested in not getting ripped (and I don't mean some small amount of money, I mean by someone having initial access to the inner workings of a cryptocurrency exchange - which escrow can't prevent).

Problems seeing a regular demo; problems with timely communications, and then suddenly disappearing on me on skype when I asked 2 simple questions.

I'm trying not to pass judgement, but what do you guys make of this?

[4:08:24 PM] regedit: im online now
[5:34:54 PM] btc co: Hey regedit - I'm finishing up some things, and I also had a hospital emergency last nite (she's better now). Need to check on a few things (emails, etc.) and make a bank deposit. Which reminds me, how easy it is going to be to add other coins such as doge, etc.?
[5:35:51 PM] regedit: hi those coins with the same rpc with bitcoin will be easily addded
[5:36:23 PM] regedit: about bank depo and other the vps host is currently down
[5:36:29 PM] regedit: http://131.72.139.188:3000/
[5:36:32 PM] regedit: not working
[5:38:06 PM] btc co: Smiley - no no no... lol - I mean "I" have to physically go to the bank here and deposit cash. lol
[5:39:12 PM] btc co: Hey, once we get this working, I don't mind if you begin referring people to our site as a demo (though they won't be able to access admin!). Can you excuse me for a moment? I have to go to the bathroom!
[5:39:34 PM] regedit: ok no worries Smiley
[5:39:52 PM] regedit: i only accept bitcoin and paypal payments
...
[5:55:49 PM] btc co: Ok, so not immediately, but I'd like this exchange to eventually has as many coins as the competitors. Eventually. There is so much to do. I have clients who want to see us get one up and running and then they''re going to want one and we're forming an alliance/network. The peatio site says that it can run multiple coins. Can it eventually have as many as cryptsy?
[5:57:25 PM] regedit: more crypto = high  resource requirement. yes it can but adding / debugging testing a new coin would take me 2-3 as im a solo dev.
[6:01:13 PM] regedit: do you have other questions?
[6:01:27 PM] btc co: yes
[6:02:22 PM] btc co: Once we have a good working system to show, I have investors who will be providing the funds for hardware upgrades, funds set aside for a reliable developer (I'm actually learning c++ and was going to learn django, but maybe I'll learn ruby). You said "2-3" - 2-3 hours? So we want to handle at least 5 coins as soon as possible. bitcoin, litecoin, doge, wampumcoin, and one other (maybe 6).
[6:03:29 PM] regedit: 2 to 3 days sir, but for litecoin and doge we can do that in 1 to 2 days as testing is complicated
[6:05:03 PM] btc co: Ok. If you don't mind me asking, how old are you (it doesn't matter for the job. It matters so that I can watch my language (swear words, etcs!) for example, I'll be leaving for about 30 mins. to go to the bank and to get beer! Do you drink beer!? Smiley
[6:05:23 PM] btc co: )
[6:05:41 PM] regedit: sorry cant tell
[6:07:22 PM] btc co: lol - NO?! awww... Ok, well. I'll be 30 in may. You don't wan to say? You're either really young or maybe you think that you're really old? No matter. Your answer tells me that I should watch my language anyway.
[6:08:36 PM] btc co: So are you going to be totally anonymous too, or can I know your 1st name?
[6:17:08 PM] btc co: eeewww... did I strike a nerve? I ask a couple of personal questions to know who I'm dealing with and you seem to suddenly stop responding? Not a good sign. I understand privacy. I'm a very VERY private person too. I've been on the net for many years and I've seen lots of bad things. Lots, so I am careful too. I've been stolen from more than once (the last time bitcoin was stolen from me I actually lost my home because I didn't have any more money... VERY hard time). If I were spending much more for this, it would be absolutely necessary to know who you are, but in this case, I just wanted to know a little  more about you.
[6:19:10 PM] btc co: Wow - you're suddenly offline now? Hmmm... Ok. I get it.
[6:19:58 PM] btc co: This was too good to be true.
[6:51:47 PM] btc co: Did you just suddenly leave because of my questions? Wow. Just like that. Ok.
You should know that people have to protect themselves, and others, so they're going to ask questions.
My only intention was to get a system up and fully operating for me and my client's project.
Even if you wanted to keep your entire real name private, you could've at least said "20 year old reg from hongkong",
and hung around so we can hash out the details of this installation. but now I'm thinking maybe what has happened here and how it was seemingly just handled is some information I and others would like to know up front... on bitcointalk maybe?

----------

now I'm not trying to ruin a legitimate person's business, no. and I'm not trying to save the world either (i grew up), but this is bullshit in my opinion. how reliable would i have to be he delivered services i disappeared before payment? a different example is should we expect bitcointalk to take reasonable measures to protect their system from hacking our accounts? yes. isn't it my duty to protect my users if i ran an exchange by determining if i'm working with a trusted person? ...if i'm serious. after all, i've taken the steps to be compliant with the laws of the land, and a chain is only as strong as it's blah blah blah... you get what you pay for most of the time.

yes... i got a little hopeful to think i could find some random un-vetted person to trust with something so critical. even with "installation and support". and the software's development team are not much better it seems when it comes to some serious questions from a serious administrator.

but hey, correct me if i'm wrong, because i'm not perfect either.

by the way, i did reach out to the the so-called "community" of this software to ask them whats happening here because maybe THEY need to step up and really support what originally sounded like such a promising project, so that people won't feel the need to even consider wasting time and exposing themselves to avoidable risks. no response.

I don't understand, I've been trying to reach you for about a month on skype. I see that you've shared you're contact details with me, and I saw you online a few moments ago, so I sent you a message but you won't reply to any of my pre-sales questions. This has destroyed my confidence purchasing or expecting support after purchase.

I had planned on installing the exchange myself, but then I saw your ad here and thought it was a good idea to pay for some help... but now I have to turn to freelancer to replace the two partners who had a change of plans, or go it alone.

Regedit, where are you?
I've been trying to contact you for two weeks and have not receive an answer.
I'm interested in the 'local Bitcoin order book exchange'.

also, I'm a bit confused. are you just charging for installation and support of peatio? I have a network of clients around the globe who are interested in having it installed and run for them. One at a time of course.

if anyone else can help with multiple peatio set ups, one at a time, let me know.
