I have acquired enough upgrades to migrate my new rig to ltc or whatever I decide to mine, but I no longer need this rig. On btc it mines about 2.7 -  2.9GH/s I currently have it on windows as linuxcoin seemed to want to declare cards dead/sick constantly on cgminer. I do not OC the cards, just run them at about 340-352MH/s per core. I keep temp around 65-70. I do not overvolt my machines either or touch the power. It is usually undervolted.

List of items:

MSI 890FXA-GD70 motherboard
AMD Sempron CPU
Corsair AX1200 PSU $140 obo
2GB RAM
4xATI5970s $230 Each obo

I will be using escrow. I will cover any escrow costs. PM or reply with any questions.

I could take all 4 of the 5970's, but I wouldn't be able to pay in BTC as I sell mine off for USD and withdraw immediately.

Hmm.  Actually, I could use the motherboard and CPU also.  Don't need thee PSU or RAM, but I wouldn't mind taking the RAM if you threw it in for $5 or $10.

but, again, as i've said in some other msgs, it'd have to be contingent on some form of payment other than bitcoins.  if you're a trusted seller (i haven't checked), I could send a money order possibly

ed: oh, looks like all that's left is the video cards and the PSU?  well, I'd take all four of the 5970's shipped for $800, if we could come to some agreement on paypal, money order, ... or you holding the stuff for a week or two while I move money to dwolla -> mtgox -> buy bitcoins

I dont know where in UK it would be but we could assume it would be about 45 for shipping and lets say 5 for insurance (I wouldnt feel comfortable without it with it going that far.) So I would ask for 19btc to cover everything.

I am referring to United Kingdom Shipping from USA can be costly depending on weight on cards.

I would pack it tight with foam and goes as small as possible. I would keep the weight down as much as possible.

Ill have a think on it as that's little over my budget for hardware am looking for. Wish I was in US lol

PM me the address if you will, I will get a more accurate number, the shipping may be lower potentially.

pm sent with details regards

I've made an offer for the MB, CPU and memory.

Confirmed.

My offer was accepted and items were shipped yesterday.  We are using gweedo as escrow.  He shipped pretty quickly after escrow confirmed receipt of the BTC.

Ok, got that all wrapped up and sent, updated prices.

.... For a machine that has about 1300$ in USED parts on it, at current fair prices (not refurb prices).

Isn't REFURBED > USED

He just made my point for me.

Read below for private conversation about cards. Just wanted everything out in the open.

Quote
I am sorry about the damages during shipping. I tried to ensure that there were enough packing peanuts in the box. I don't know how much taping the static bags would have helped. All I can say in my defense is that I've recieved countless cards in the mail this way and no matter how they are packaged it is not unusual to get bent front plates and some chips of plastic gone.

Take pictures of the damage though and I'm sure we can work something out.

As far as the cards go I never tested them gaming. The one that was in the bubble wrap static bag was the display card on the rig and should be your best bet for gaming (I never saw it artifact... watched some movies with it while it was mining).

I am not trying to rip you off and if you are really dissapointed I'm sure we can work something out. I priced them such that they would get sold quickly and at a price that would reflect what little testing I had done on them (i.e. they had just been mining for months with no games played on them).

I don't know the settings you used them for gaming... You ought to try running all the cards in regular games not benchmarks and adjusting the Voltage to around 1.012 vddc and the core clock to stock: 725mhz. This is what they were run on for months on end and since they are older cards they require much less juice for the same clocks. This can help reduce artifacting.

I am posting a copy of this in the thread.

Let me know,
Andrew

Cards went out this morning USPS.

Tracking is:

0312 1430 0000 9606 9888

The card in the bubble wrap static bag is the card used as the display card.

Thanks man,
Andrew

Ok so I got a chance to plug them in and I was quite ..disappointed. 2 of the cards had bent mounting brackets (where you insert the screw). Nothing a pliers doesn't bend back. Also one of the cards had a small red piece of plastic break off near the crossfire connector. Both damages were cosmetic as far as I know and could have been prevented with better packing.

Also both cards with the original red fan show artifacting in games. The black fan one seems to work ok so far for games (I only tested with OCCT and furmark).

Despite 1 transaction on the forum accepting that price it does not dictate that I accept that price. I declined the offer already, sorry.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1391795

Have a couple of rigs I'm getting rid of... Just want to sell the 5970s though

4x 5970s guaranteed to mine at 725mhz core 1.000 VDDC...

They get 650mh/s bitcoin and around 600kh/s litcoin mining.

Shipping will be extra unless you buy 3 or all 4... then its free. Not gonna test them gaming. As far as I know, none of them artifact... But some havn't been run as primary dispaly in a while.

Want these gone quick. First to establish an agreement over pm and send bitcoins gets them.

UPDATE: Forgot to mention, one of the cards has been reflowed... Both of the cores. Been mining fine for weeks. This cards comes with a 15 day warranty for mining. All the other cards have not been reflowed and work perfectly to my knowledge.

ALSO: If someone has good rep. but it short on bitcoins... I can take half up front and as long as you can pay the rest within two weeks that is fine.

Thanks,
Andrew

I think andrewk does good work, and I would probably have bought them at that very very cheap price. But, I am not going to accept that price for my cards.

I just bought a 5970 for $150.

5970 pricing seemly has went down a lot.

Which at current pricing is 150/13.39=11.2 BTC

11.2X4=44.8

Power supply about 10 BTC

54.8.

And adding everything else.

58 BTC.

At most I can see is an offer of 60 BTC + shipping.
I'm not offering that btw, but a suggestion on what your pricing should be.

That 150 is for a reflowed card.....so yeah no I would not accept that offer. These have never overheated, then had to be reflowed. You bought what is the equivalent to refurbished cards. The cards if I was to even consider something that low, I would hit ebay first and get ~220-300 for each card. It seems to me that all of the figures thrown out there are low overall. For a machine that has about 1300$ in parts on it, at current fair prices (not refurb prices).

Actually I bought 3 5970 for $150 each free ship and they were NOT reflowed. So yes, 5970 price has come down that far

5970's are selling for $200-$220 on eBay still

that means a seller could get at least $180 for them on there after fees

I'll offer $170 for one 5970 right now

If it was done by a manufacturer sure I would agree, but I could sell used ATI5970s elsewhere for double his offer, so yeah I will gladly refuse it.
