Electricity is really just organized lightning
Closing this out and just selling some gold bars.  Will put these on a shelf and maybe my kids will find some day and know what they are.

Thanks everyone for considering.

Best,

Woodson

A very good decision under current circumstances woodson.

Sell some gold instead. It is a better idea atm.

One coin to rule them all
sorry, sending new PM now, missed this one, thanks! Cheesy

Thank you Sir!  Shipping in the morning.

Anybody know a decent price on an ungraded 2011 Series 1BTC Brass?  I have had inquiries but seeing crazy asking prices on confirm.org.  Anybody with a keen eye please chime in.  I'm not trying to profit on the community just get what I put in honestly.

Thanks,

B Woodson

Somewhere around 1.2(5), depending on the quality.

Did I misunderstand your post or do you seriously think that 2011 Series-1 "error" coins are sold ungraded for 1.2?
Perhaps a really beaten up could go for 1.2...  but in good shape, then have I rarely seen them below 2.5 BTC, even in this slow market.
Ungraded error coins in good shape are not easy to find.

That would be the lack of coffee talking. I just woke up and misread it for a 2013 brass 1 BTC. My bad Grin.

Ahh lack of coffee, that explain everything  Grin
I agree with the 1.2-1.25 for the ungraded 2013.

Per request photos of 0.5BTC I paid 1BTC  1x 2013 Casascius 0.5 BTC Brass coin – Purchased from Nubbins for 1 Bitcoin

Other coins from this roll have fetched MS-67, and they were stored loose in a baggie for

Ungraded.

two years.

This one's been in the flip case since I received it, so it should grade high.  EDIT: I received and put in box my safe.  Hasn't been handled at all on my end.  Still in same protective sleeve nubbins sent to me in.

Would you accept .89 for it? I know that's probably low for you, but I have never paid more than .8 for an ugraded .05 brass. Did he supply PGP docs as well?

Thanks either way for the pics, nice coin! Smiley

Works for me.  There were no papers.  Ill pay shipping and have out with tracking tomorrow.  PM your address. Sending from Kansas. Thanks!

Oh shit, you have the hologram "bubble" issue too - I have a 2011 error coin with that same bubbly shit on the right side of the holo. Well, this proves it wasn't anacs that did it, so thanks for that. I don't think it affects the value, but do you see where I mean? The top side of the holo has bubbles compared to the other... Sad

First coin purchased here and nubbins didn't say anything about it.  not sure honestly.  Never noticed.  Thanks though

No problem, you are actually the first person to actually confirm it's not because of ANACS. So, thanks for that.

Let me know on the offer. Thanks again, I'm not crazy and neither are a few others now! Smiley

1.75BTC for a 0.1 btc casascius ? Isn't it a little bit high  Huh ?

I'm not entirely sure of the market value at this time.  What are you willing to pay if interested.  Thanks for the feedback... I do believe I paid somewhere close to that when I was first getting involved in Casascius coins.  What is fair market value?  My over spend isn't grounds for market value, I agree.

Things have slowed down on the cas coins. I picked one up earlier this year at auction (ms70 .01) for 2.24 I believe, which at the time, seemed to be a steal considering I had seen one go for 3 btc.... Then, a few months later, I saw an MS69 auction off for 1 BTC I believe. Could be wrong, but it was depressing.  Cry

Check these threads for recent sellling and buys on a number of coins here -
