Makes you wonder how many people were packing their house up on that date to move or packing any items to move and that paper ended up getting wrapped up with some fine China or something like that to protect it from breaking. Lol there must be hoarders who have copies sitting around their house and they never even know it’s true value..
Absolutely, there will be more than a couple these sitting in peoples attics used as wrapping paper, propping up tables and lining out boxes, that’s just a safe assumption to make. Will they be in a bad shape? Of course, but is there more existing than the couple we know of? Guaranteed
I wouldnt say there are many left in perfect condition or other than wrapping paper,
thats the nature of newsprint, they are really designed for a day or couple of days and
a newer one is out then.
Regarding the OP's copy, its kind of a pity that it was on display and that the front page
got discoloured, UV light is the no.1 enemy of newsprint.
