$650,000 ~BTC10 ?

Yes, and it is considered cheap, considering the 1M+ USD the last good example was sold for. This item is exceptionally rare.

Not sure, the issue is that whilst it is rare, there is not a huge cult of newspaper and magazine collectors.

Out of the small pool of collectors which there are most don't a) have the money for this pricetag b)if they did have the money, probably not invest so heavily.

There is no doubt the paper is rare and everything but its a tough sale.

Good luck to you, it is an amazingly rare piece.

All exceptionally rare items have small markets as the wealth distribution of the world is pretty much disastrous. But think about it this way: if you have 50M+ USD liquid wealth you're already in the territory of diversification into fine art/historical items.

For someone with that money and appreciation of cryptocurrency, this item is basically a no brainer. You can be 100% sure that in 5-10-15-20-30-50... years, no matter what happens to Bitcoin/crypto, this item will keep appreciating and its rarity and value will only increase.

In comparison, other historically important newpapers (for example the newspapers which had assassinations of presidents on their front pages are at 20M+ USD currently for even the damaged examples).

Yeah, i mean, if you had 50 million liquid, there are also a ton of other investments to go into.

If your so confident about the value of the newspaper, why not let it run in an auction?

There is no proper platform to do an auction unfortunately, Also starting price wouldn't be lower than my current prices, considering the 2 examples that were sold for 1M already.

You have to understand, that you will never obtain such item for the original or low price anymore. Maybe if you find a pensioner in the UK who keeps newspapers and does not know about it, but then again, if you don't keep it properly it can degrade rapidly (eg: no more than 60% humidity, no high temps).

My display piece was in a dark room with no direct sunlight or extreme temp changes, and was sealed, but still it got discolouration.

UPDATE

Currently I'm still selling my first newspaper (that was used as a display piece) for a lower price of 350K USD (first post includes pictures).

Also, I have a pristine, non-display, certified example available for 650K USD (also open to sensible offers).

Picture of the pristine example:

Please send a pm if you are interested. The newspapers can be examined before purchase on the expense of the buyer. In person collection possible in Wien, Austria.

Insured shipping can be organized worldwide.

What 3rd party agency would you use to get this "graded" for lack of a better term.

I know that CGC does comic books, PCGS does coins, who would do newspapers?

Would you consider getting this paper slabbed up, it may increase the appeal.

I already have a certificate of authenticity from the collector firm I got it from, but serious buyers can get it checked at any reputable venue of their choice. (preferably in europe).

what is the difference between the standard edition and the 'Scotland edition' (top right corner)?
does this difference affect the value?

Nothing in terms of content only that mark. (mind we don't know which version satoshi had, but doesn't really make a difference imo).

Most likely it's even more rare.
