This guy and his pricing got to be one of the most ridiculous ones I have seen so far.
I can go to Evga and buy new 1080ti with warranties at 629 a piece .
PayPal Credit gives me 6 months to pay no interest..
So 8 directly from the manufacturer is under 5.1k.
Two Mobos 200
two psus 200
two CPUs. 200
Two ssds. 100
2 sticks ram 100
800
So new 2 builds with warranty and six months to pay no interest under 6k.
And he asked 10,500. And he acts insulted life is filled with funny things and even funnier people.

Thanks. Your points may be valid, but you, too, are comparing apples to oranges. Perhaps other 1080ti cards can be indeed had for a lower price -- and they probably function just fine -- but the particular ones in my rigs go for a higher price, and I would be a fool to sell them for less than that. That's what irks me about all these monkeys coming in here and throwing poop -- they're trying to get me to sell a specific model of card, one that's more sought-after than the others, for far less than what it can fetch. Essentially, they're swindlers.
Your gigabyte are not in high demand I dont know where youre getting that from? Can you link me somewhere I can read that at? Cause I know for a fact the EVGA and Asus Strix are in the top tier lists all across the board.

I've also checked the Amazon prices for new and used cards, and set my "buy it now" suggestion based on those, in conjunction with the fact that it throws in the other hardware for free, and that it's already tested.
only rich kids get their parents to buy them a 1080ti for 1k on amazon, but anyone who has a single clue about mining knows the prices for these gears.
500$ for each card and giving the rest of the components for free is the average fair price as of today's market, you could get a bit higher than that in EU zone, i have bought a bunch of these for a client last moth for an average price of 450$ locally, so really 500$ is a perfect deal from a seller's stand point.
also it does NOT matter who built them or how they did it, your cards won't make 1 cent less if there were put here and installed by my grandmother.

New cards on Amazon are $1,400 to $2,000. Used ones are about half that.

Lying about it isn't going to get you anywhere.The problem with trying to use Amazon Used prices, which are higher than other companies, is that you wouldnt be able to even sell these on Amazon. Not only does Amazon require new produt invoices from actual distributors which would require you to have a resale license, you would also need to take the 10%+ return ratio that amazon has on graphics cards. You should be using eBay to price your graphics cards and atleast subtracting 15% due to the fees and shipping.

This here is a good place to start, the biggest things are to show proof of ownership, and then focus on payments accepted and if your willing to use forum trusted escrow (that's the norm around here)
Those points surprisingly aren't your biggest issue with the listing, they normally are as many scammers try and skirt the issue to find a sucker. Looking at community standards on this board there is no "expectation" that the item has to be sold once listed, even if you say OBO, you can still turn down any offer. Just don't renege on a deal that you've agreed to. This changes if you say host an auction, I feel anyone starting these is making an implied contract to sell, if the minimums are met.

The first rig was built by Vosk at the end of 2017, and consists of four cards. The second rig was built by Remote Mine (run by Corbin Pointer and Manraj Gill) in early 2018, and is half empty. Both rigs were used about half a year, then shut down when Remote Mine closed with hardly any warning (refusing even to break down the rigs and sell them). The rigs then got shipped to Utah, where a prospective host failed to make use of them since.
As for the price, there's nothing stopping people from haggling, is there? However, it's inappropriate to come into my thread, make a bunch of faulty assumptions about the hardware, and then urinate on my suggested price for it.
I will entertain counter-offers, but nothing so silly. Thank you.
