Yes. I think peeling is the way to go ever since one of the fork coins become of significant value as compared to BTC itself. These days is really hard to sellers and buyers alike seeing the gap in valuation methods.

I will keep this thread up until the end of the week. If no compelling offers come through for both, the peeling shall commence on the coins.

I can't blame you on peeling it. I really hope that tons of these coins do end up getting peeled. The more that get peeled = the more they are worth longer term.  Cool

Ebay has become a graveyard of late for peeled coins. Love it!

We are at a crossroads with cas coins, I might not be buying anymore because I can't reasonably pay for the value of those forked coins.  Cry

Agree...these are tough time for buyers and sellers alike trying to determine a fair price for these coins as many expect the forked coins to be included and many do not

If someone wants the coin then I don't see why the seller should subsidise the sale to compensate for the buyer's feelings. Are they all going to be reduced to the status of the Casascius equivalent of kitten strangling to get the right price? Guilt tripping doesn't make for a very healthy or functional market.

Maybe, and ideally, the shitforks will dwindle to nowt in the future but again that's the buyer's problem, not the seller's.

I don't think it's the buyers feelings you are missing my point I think.  What if bcash spikes to .6btc one day so now peel value on the coin might be 1.7btc for "that day", I believe it will drop, so why would I pay the inflated value of the coin.  When it was just bitcoin on there it was easy to calculate....their are going to be a zillion forks on there at some point and I don't want to have to see how much those knockoff coins are worth to buy a cas coin.  It has nothing to do with my or the buyers feelings at all....I don't want bcash physicals and I don't see casascius coins as bcash physical it just happened that way.

With that being said, I said it was completely understandable the seller won't sell for under peel at the time of the sale doesn't make sense for them.  The reason why I said I probably won't be buying anymore unfortunately...

Haha blaze, I am sure you would like that wouldn't you. But wouldn't you also wanna save these poor casascius coins from my prying and poking hands ? Help maintain their divine virginity in the name of our lord, the omnipresent satoshi?

The true BTC and cas premium that is the only valuation.  Why even count Bcash, bgold and all other shitcoins.  Like Blazed said Most of the buyers in collectibles never peel the casascius coins.

Bump. Anyone interested but willing to provide an offer greater than intrinsic value of all of the forks contained within.

I would never peel the coin so the extra coins are meaningless to me. I would just recommend peeling it.

Hello People!

I have with me today a lovely looking 2012 Series 2 Casascius Coin that are fully loaded with untampered holographic seal at the back.

The coins have always been stored in a protective case and is rarely taken out of darkness except for pictures.

There is Bitcoin cash, Bitcore, Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin Diamond stored into the address also.

I am based in London although shipping is available. Of course there would be a need for an escrow

Contact me for a price. I am very reasonable

Pictures Available Here: https://imgur.com/a/1NDFS

Addresses:
https://casascius.uberbills.com/?address=1CCMEMhBvAYQNHFpMU8CAnJHjrK3xHkvqC

You can contact me anytime to ask questions. If it makes it easier we talk via email later

Thank you are for viewing!

Since the opportunity is looking to sell the same thing, I suggest you post your own thread as its bad form to hijack someone''s sales thread selling the same thing.

Bump. Anyone interested but willing to provide an offer greater than intrinsic value of all of the forks contained within.

The issue is a number of us would pay 20% for the instrinsic value... but these same people don't value The shitcoins.. so it's proving difficult to value a lot of the older coins now.

Nail on the head.  Sellers want more than peel understandadly, but I won't buy a cas coin based on bcash prices, bitcoin gold, and bitcoin super, etc.  Those shitcoins I think will whither to 0, so since most buy and hodl, they can't pay for something they feel will be worthless in the future.  As a buyer I base it on bitcoin value plus collector value of the coin.

But as a seller there is no way you can sell for less than peel, that is understandable.  We are at a crossroads with cas coins, I might not be buying anymore because I can't reasonably pay for the value of those forked coins.  Cry

2.15BTC

Haha, guys it's still worth less than all forks combined. Please have an offer at least more than the btg and bth inside.

1.240 + 1.240 = 2.48 BTC
It is not my bid. It is the value both coins holds together. According to current btc rate on preev.
Pull that hologram buddy and you can sell them empty to get some extra money.  Wink

I could do that, but I figured there might be people interested in the history of the coins , especially when it is funded. 1.24 is about the current value of the coins, but I believe the premium should add around .23  - .30btc by past transactions around it.
