Wow I am surprised there is an issue here. I talked to this guy for quite a while on Skype and debated buying this rig, had even offered him an offer better than the highest I saw listed here and asked him to get in touch with me if there were other offers because I was very interested.

Then the next morning I checked here and saw your update that the item had been sold, so I figured whatever I guess he found someone local or that offered him a better deal. The whole thing seemed a little shady to me but he typed me quite a lot of text explaining the situation so it seemed fine to me.

Anyway, hope everything works out in the end for you with either a refund or the rig.

Yeah I hope there was some legitimate reason... but all forms of communication have been dropped out from him. So although I want to wish for the best he's only giving me one option but to look at the proof before my eyes. I will update if anything changes

You did the right thing by starting a claim. Hopefully you'll get your funds back.

I will do those things.

Not sure what you mean by "minor". He tried to steal almost $900. That doesn't seem minor to me.

Minor: Hit by a truck, car, plane, train, moped, skateboard, skillet, dog turd or flying trout. Also, could be actually sick or urgent family matter. Paypal claim IS the best bet for now. Hope it works out for you.

Well It's unfortunate to have to say, but it appears he tried to scam me. He completely cut off all communication from Skype and didn't call me back, didn't respond to texts, didn't reply to messages on these forums. No package in the mail and no valid tracking number.

So I opened a paypal claim against him to get my money back.

So for anyone wondering in the future: BTC4Amazon is not trustworthy.

Leave proper Trust and post in the Scam section. Hopefully it's something minor that's happened.

I'd appreciate the tracking number very much. It's been 4 days since I paid ya. Thank you. I know you're busy.

You may have been scammed, check his feedback.
I don't see any feedback left that indicates a scam. Do you?

He sent me a tracking number now. But it doesn't work.

Click on the untrusted section. Also, make sure you are using the right tracking tool for the tracking number. I've accidentally a USPS tracking number in UPS tracking and wondered why it didn't work.

Ah, thank you. I found the untrusted section. I didn't even see that. I wish it was a little more visible.

Also, i tried the tracking number in UPS, USPS and FEDEX websites. None work. It looks like an invalid USPS tracking number. He isn't replying and I am surprised because of his history on these forums.

I paid with PayPal though, not bitcoin, so the next step is coming... The fact that I paid with PayPal also surprises me that he would try such a thing. Maybe he just typed the tracking number wrong? But he's also dropped out of communication..... I want to think the best and I will give him some time to come through before I pull the axe, but man, some people. Better communication at THE LEAST.

I'll pay 1 BTC. I will pay in cash too, in US dollars via PayPal.

I live in Florida, so it's not too far to ship (costs less).

Need to know within a day though as I am shopping for mining hardware now.
