A dollar per page sounds really good for anyone that is good at typing and wants to make a quick buck. But the person trying to get the documents typed out, would be losing a lot of money. He doesn't want to waste $1 a page. He wants to pay very little and lose the least he can. You won't be seeing him increase the pay anytime soon unless he get really desperate. No problem, I will wait until next Sunday. Anyway Thanks for the payment

There will be more chances to join this project soon? It looks very interesting, although unfortunately I noticed it too late! 
Not anytime soon unless the folks over at the 16th Infantry Regiment Historical Society find more files in the archives again
There's the more likely chance though that someone here finds they don't have the time and give up their document however those seem to be re-claimed quite quickly
