That is actually going to make it muuuch better. I wish there was a way to change minimum bet from 0.05 to something lower, maybe 0.02 - or even the ability to change this.. so one could start low then increase over time..

I'm not going to make any design changes to the game at this time. I'm busy working on my next game, which is almost ready for release.  Wink

You can play with 0 confirmations, but you can't withdraw anything unless all the deposits have at least 6 confirmations. I don't see how that is a bad idea. (You can cash out, but the system won't send your money until the confirmations are there).

OK, much better thanks Smiley

I had it waiting for 1 confirmation (whoops!). That problem is fixed. Credits are now available with 0 confirmations.

Can I interest you in a pair of Bad Idea Jeans?

That was caused by the slow connection. I now have a faster, non-TOR-based server:

I am still waiting for credits to appear.

I deposited 0.25 to 1DrfJccGLyJmRftHwXzLhsVmnHdi3jXpF4 and it's had 9 confirmations already, still nothing.

I'm using Firefox 5.0 on Windows 7x64. I sent from my bitcoin client running on my pc.

EDIT: It now has credits.

I didn't see your exact bug, but I noticed that the nightly builds of Firefox (what you're using) have a new optimization that thwarted my technique for preloading the card images, which can cause similar problems.

I'm using a different technique now, which works in the nightly build 8.0a1 (I couldn't find 7.01a anywhere).

Tried the game a few times now. It always breaks at one point when I hit deal and all of a sudden from then on I can only see 4 instead of 5 cards. Using FF 7.01a 64 Bit.

I've reduced the size of the images (almost none of them are over 10K now), and added a long-term cache directive to the images and the sounds, so that browsers stop asking about them every time you click "DRAW". It made a world of difference, both in terms of game speed and apparent bugginess. In fact, I've removed the card-loading page.

Just so people know.  Yes, the expected payout over the lifetime of a jacks or better game is 99.54% on perfect play.  BUT, this only applies if you play with the full 5 credits.  On 1-4 the payout is dropped down to about 98.18% based on the following info

1-4 credit bet

Code:
Hand         	Payoff Combinations Probability Return
Royal flush 250 493512264 0.00002476 0.00619000
Straight flush 50 2178883296 0.00010931 0.00546545
Four of a kind 25 47093167764 0.00236255 0.05906364
Full house   9 229475482596 0.01151221 0.10360987
Flush         6 219554786160 0.01101451 0.06608707
Straight     4 223837565784 0.01122937 0.04491747
Three of a kind 3 1484003070324 0.07444870 0.22334610
Two pair     2 2576946164148 0.12927890 0.25855780
Pair           1 4277372890968 0.21458503 0.21458503
Nothing     0 10872274993896 0.54543467 0
Total           19933230517200 1       0.98182243

5 credit bet

Code:
Hand         	Payoff Combinations Probability Return
Royal flush 800 493512264 0.00002476 0.01980661

Total           19933230517200 1       0.99543904

This is using perfect strategy.  Simple strategy will cost you about .08% return, but is MUCH easier to memorize and do on the fly without constantly referring to charts.

As far as the double up round goes.  The odds are.
Double 46.15%
Nothing 46.15%
Push 7.7%

The simple strategy I follow is directly from Wizard of Odds

Code:
Four of a kind, straight flush, royal flush
    4 to a royal flush
Three of a kind, straight, flush, full house
    4 to a straight flush
    Two pair
    High pair
    3 to a royal flush
    4 to a flush
    Low pair
    4 to an outside straight
    2 suited high cards
    3 to a straight flush
2 unsuited high cards (if more than 2 then pick the lowest 2)
    Suited 10/J, 10/Q, or 10/K
    One high card
    Discard everything

Play the highest you have up the chain.

Assume you have Ac 3c 5c Js Jc

Conventional wisdom would tell you to hold the 4 clubs and shoot for the flush, but the odds tell you to keep the 2 Jacks and discard the rest.

Edit: My only concern.  There is NO independent audit of the code or safety procedure in place to discount any shenanigans that the site operator COULD pull to make it more profitable.  I am NOT saying that the game is rigged in any way, I am just stating that it COULD be and there is no good way to tell, so you must trust the operator before you play.

I wouldn't chalk connection problems up to your browser. It's more likely that the tor2web.org gateway was running slow, or even my own TOR connection (TOR is both slow and unreliable). I had no trouble loading from tor2web.org just now.

I did receive a 0.04$ payment when i hit the cashout button, assuming that payment came from your site of course

You do use a new address for every transaction, don't you?  Smiley

If your balance doesn't read 0, then the cash-out didn't come from me (or your browser is failing to update the balance).

will fill in the form when i'm back at home, the non-TOR version isnt loading at work (not blocked, just page cannot be displayed) Smiley

Is it possible it doesn't work properly in Firefox? or shouldn't that have anything to do with it?

There are a number of inactive sessions with money in them. Care to help me identify yours? Your deposit address would be sufficient. Use the contact form on the page for security purposes.
