Most of the volatility comes because XBC is on one exchange only. It will improve hugely when it gets onto Mintpal and Cryptsy, we all want it to be fair and stable for a long future, Nobody working on this coin wants to be part of any p+d.  Smiley

Bitcoin isn't a bubble. It's the pin!

Ok, so i really want to avoid pumping and dumping, as it is illegal, but, XBC is very volatile. So it is possible to buy low and sell high multiple times a day. Thus basically generating free money. That can't be legal. Is that considered pumping and dumping?

Going very well.
But why so little in the pot? Very few contributions from XBC community.
Everyone saying XBC is easy to make profits. So, keep it profitable. Invest in it's development. get yer paws in yer wallets and send in a contribution.
Every little helps. Let's go.  Grin

as I mine with a U2 usb I find a lot of blocks but they are all empty and 0.0 xbc?
could someone direct me in the right direction  here? please?

Right now this wallet is both PoW/PoS however many of the blocks are just to process transaction fee's this will be changing completely over to Proof of stake once the new wallet is released, which should be tonight. If you wish to mine XBC or purchase it, please see the first post of this thread, we have a multipool and exchanges, let me know if I can be of further help.

so let me get this correct!!! mining on this wallet is useless and will not produce coins right?

Is useless... wont produce any coin, only POS...

Status: 64 confirmations, broadcast through 8 nodes
Date: 5/8/2014 16:33
Source: Generated
Credit: 0.00 XBC (matures in 36 more blocks)
Net amount: 0.00 XBC
Transaction ID: d31346f37a5702cc62b1c3261b6aedfd585101104476cac35bcf429204f6ac99

Generated coins must mature 30 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.

I have over 100 of these all saying the same thing?

what could I be doing wrong?

I kindly ask you to remove me from the commitee. I don't want to participate in a project, where I am personally attacked constantly. Never in 4 years participating in cryptocurrencies was I attacked for anything I did, but seems like I bring it out on XBC community.

Sorry that it didn't work out.

I have let serious know prior to your post but I believe he is busy or sleeping, it will be done though.

The giveaway is over  Undecided

You can currently purchase XBC on poloniex or bittrex.
https://poloniex.com/exchange/btc_xbc

https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-XBC

You can also mine on hashcows and choose XBC as your payout from our multipool. Please see the first post for more details and links.

Due to there only being 55,000 coins in circulation giveaways don't last long.

thanks ! I switched my mining rig to hashcows.ws !

May I suggest in the original post where you list CNY exchange to tack on a Chinese "人民币". By putting the Chinese in that spot you may be able to attract some nice attention, as they usually just scan over English and don't really read it. The Chinese will pop out at them and they will pay more attention or feel the need to Google Translate it to read more thoroughly.  Grin

Feel free to hit me up for a Chinese translation if necessary. I run a translation and cultural consulting firm here in Hong Kong, and we could get something together for you (also it helps that a good amount of us understand cryptos).

I'm really looking forward to the growth of XBC and view it as one of the "upper" level coins like primecoin, NMC, etc. This coin has potential to even get on BTC-E in my opinion.

Great ideas, I sent a pm to Seriouscoins regarding your post, thank you for those suggestions Smiley
