Scrypt was FPGA resistant, but dedicated ASICs beat it. X11 and the others are not FPGA resistant, and some algorithms  can be efficiently implemented in a chip/FPGA. I'm sure that some have the good FPGA hardware to implement that...

We can just expect that the FPGA implementation is power efficient but with a limited hashrate power for now...

You guys are crazy. My amd 280x rigs are doing just fine on any
algo.  Gpu mining is not dead, and nvidia and amd are about tie
for now.

there are plenty of algo out there, gpu can't die
